As someone who doesn't drink,I still love going here for the live music. Basic dive bar. They have a patio with comfy chairs and a couch and a projector so you can watch sports. There is a back room with a pool table and even a back yard with some picnic table if you wanna avoid the crowd. The main bar has the stage which is situated across the room facing the bar,so it can be tough when it gets crowded. The sound system from Terrapin Crossroads is really awesome. Great stage for the band, not so much for the audience.

So much incredible music. Wednesday nights has been Danny's Live Dead for the last few months and usually a very professional presentation of the music.

Bathrooms were updated in the 1970s,but there is still a trough urinal in the men's room that probably dates back to the 1950s. No food and no fancy drinks.

Happened to be in Marin County on a Thursday night and we were looking for somewhere to drink. Some local bartenders told us to go to Fairfax and we stumbled on Peri’s and they were having a special blue grass night. You can tell the locals really enjoy going there and really enjoy their time there. Super chill with both indoor and outdoor areas along with a pool room. There’s street parking and they have board games to play too.

Attendes an event there on Friday in February 2023. Great venue with nice outdoor seating area. Bartenders were friendly and attentive (minimal wait to get a drink despite it being extremely busy). Drinks are pricey but really good.

I'm a 64 y/o Harley rider. My wife was shopping around town. I went in to an empty bar, walked in waved to the young man on the outdoor smoking patio. He turned out to be the bartender. I made some small talk and joined he and friends outside (smokers). They all were very welcoming. Asked if there was anywhere in the shade, they said hey park right here next to the glass block wall. I drank up said I may see you at the live music later. I went back got the good parking place and danced from 7:30 till 1:30. Thanks all you young people. Had a great night. Highly recommended!

Cool place, saw some live music and did some dancing. I've heard lots of stories about this place going way back. Sound was not great but you don't expect that in a venue like this, it's a bar basically. There are a few separate rooms where they have pool in one, and a smoking area in the other.

Peri's Tavern has been beautifully transformed, new paint, beautiful stage and awesome cocktails! The music was great with Dream Farm Band!

The rippin music scene is back, great to see some really quality jam bands and Peris is the place for it, such a major part of the Fairfax vibe
