Home! The campground experience is unique, and the concert side is heart warming. The Give & Take jugglers in the grove provide entertainment for kids. The people are my family, and the volunteers make the Fest world go round! Happy Fest!

An experience unlike any other. For four days I was surrounded by beautiful music and people, and was able to create memories that I wouldn't trade for anything. The Philadelphia Folk Festival is something that I feel everyone should experience at least once, for after that one time you're not going to be able to go without.

It's a great place to go out for a weekend to enjoy the outdoors. It is really cool just to walk around and see the different little set ups that everyone has. Some people have these magnificent tents set up. They also have a section where you can walk and there are a bunch of tents set up where you can buy little things. They have a concert everynight. I wouldn't say this is a kid friendly place though. There is a lot of smoking and alchohol passed around, and they have a river by the camp ground where people skinny dip. Some people are dressed in skimpy clothing. It I definitly a place for a more adventurous person.

This is the best festival by far,hands down. There is so much to do, very family oriented and volunteer run. Just a great experience all around I have been going for 20ish years volunteering for 15 of them.

Providing once in a lifetime experiences for over 10,000 visitors each year, this place never ceases to amaze. Today was the end of my 3rd Fest. I encourage everyone to go at least once, the music is awesome, the parties are outstanding. The people are different than you're used to in the "real world", kinder, less judgmental, more accepting, etc. If you ever get the chance, just do it, you wont regret it. Come find our camp, Aurora Borealis next year.

Holy crap, the original review was 9 years ago. Now I'm heavily involved in volunteering with the festival and I can't stress enough the importance of experiencing this festival for yourself. I STILL promise you won't regret it. I'm still at Aurora Borealis, stop by and mention this review and I'll give you a beer!

I always keep coming back. There is something truly special about the music, the people, the culture, and the atmosphere. The food vendors are always top notch.
