If you are in the Emeryville area, Mercato Pizzeria at the Market Place is an absolute must-visit! From start to finish, this place delivers an unforgettable dining experience. For appetizers, we started with the chicken wings and garlic flatbread. The wings were incredibly flavorful and juicy, with the perfect balance of seasoning that left me wanting more. The garlic flatbread was just heavenly—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with a wonderful blend of garlic and herbs that made it utterly addictive.

For the main course, we ordered both the margarita pizza and the pepperoni pizza, and they did not disappoint. The margarita pizza had a wonderfully tangy tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and a perfectly crisp crust that was both light and satisfying. The pepperoni pizza was equally impressive—loaded with perfectly spiced pepperoni and the right amount of cheese, with a nice balance of flavors in every bite. Pizzeria Mercato has become our go-to location where you just know you'll always have great food and excellent service. Their Neapolitan style pizza is to die for, as are their pastas. The people are always warm and friendly, and even gave our little one a quick pizza making workshop!

Went to the public market for some lunch, the public area was so crowded. So we decided to check out Pizzeria Mercato, the place is spacious!

The calamari was delicious, would order that again! The pizza and pasta were good as well, but the calamari is a must for us. All and all, we had a relaxing lunch.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this cozy Italian restaurant. I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to make recommendations.

I started my meal with the tortellini tomato. The tortellini was perfectly cooked and the tomato sauce was flavorful and fresh.
Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian meal.

I would definitely return and try other dishes on the menu.

They have some specials depending on when you dine so check out what’s available. This is part of the food hall but you can enter from within the food hall or from the street.

The food is tasty. I think I’ll try the pizza next time as that looks like the best thing here. The salad, pasta and sandwich we ordered were good but not spectacular. I can pass on those next time.

Checked this place out on a sunday night. We were seated right away. Place is clean, staff are very friendly and approachable . Food was so so delicious! Fresh pasta and pizzas! All made to order. The desserts were also bomb! A little on the pricey side but everything was worth the price! Definitely a new favorite spot!

Friendly place with excellent pizzas and pastas. Has a large indoor and small outdoor seating areas.

I've tried a bunch of the pizzas... My favorite is the prosciutto, but the pepperoni was excellent as well. Fusilli pasta with chicken was also really good, with a lot of dried tomatoes and good greens.

A reasonable selection of here and wines.

I was in the area, and I used Google maps to look for a restaurant.

Pizzeria Mercato is excellent. I had a Margherita pizza, and their 12"pizza cost $17.95, except it didn't. From 2 to 5:30 pm they had happy hour so it was 20% off!

The pizza is very thin crust, the mozzarella cheese is generous, and the whole thing was delicious.
