Took my niece and nephew for 2 hours. They had a blast so did I. The weather was hot and a little breeze. Bring plenty of water if you decide to come. Evenings and cloudy days are probably the best time to go.

Such a gem of a play area! We stopped here on a cross country trip from California to South Carolina. Perfect spot to have a picnic and let's the kids run off some energy. Such a great local playground that offers endless imagination and climbing opportunities for the little ones. Thank you to the community that built this treasure

Fun park with lots of great areas for big kids and little kids.

They need to maintain this playground. There's a lot of profanity/grafitti written all over the walls in the climbing play area. Wish they had benches in the shade. The little woodchips got on the walkways so it makes it slippery. I saw 3 kids slip and fall 🙁 they need to clear that before someone really hurts themselves. Tell your kids to be careful and not run. There's no tireswing or teeter totter or marygoround sadly.

The kids had a great time at this park. And they have updated some of the wood as I'm sure it was splintered and damaged. But it was missing some of the more fun things to do - like the little zipline, the tire swing, and a water fountain. But the rec center was really good. The young man working there was talkative and courteous lowered the rim for the kids and got out equipment for them to use. We will go back when we were in Gallup.

We stopped to eat and let kids play, but we left pretty quickly. There were about ten people in the bathroom shooting up. My husband took my boys and a lady stopped them while someone warned the people in the bathroom that kids were coming inside. I appreciate her wanting to shield my kids from that sight, but we left.

I usually go here with my kids before and after t-ball games in the summer. Only if we have enough time. I remember playing at this same playground when I was younger also. The youth groups, volunteers, and the City of Gallup have done a great job keeping this playground in great shape for families and friends to play.
