I go there 2 or 3 times a week to pick up senior lunch and free food from Safeway. All the people that run the community center the hire up like the president and all the volunteers that hand out the senior lunch are VARY FRIENDLY and do a great job .

Not a Community Center that any community would be proud of πŸ™
If you like cranky old people then this is the place for you! Cult-controlled and more like a reboot of 'Mean Girls' for old people!
I was bamboozled by the promise of a free Christmas Dinner and was sent home hungry after showing up at the appointed time.
Overall, Pollock Pines is not a choice retirement or even tourist destination, lacks any hint of gentrification and does not offer anything more classy than Burger Barn for a bite to eat. The derelict, abandoned Taco Bell in the middle of town is only used by the homeless to sleep in. Poor traffic control recently saw 3 children run down by a truck in a crosswalk in the center of town!

Great place to play bingo or bowl. No hustle, just friendly folks who dream of hitting the black-out bingo or call bingo on a cookie jar number. Great callers and volunteers.
