I can't recommend Janet's sewing classes highly enough! I started with Janet as a true beginner, and she taught me everything from learning machine basics to completing my first sewing projects (a wallet and apron). I absolutely loved all my classes. I started the summer with a goal of learning how to sew so I could better pursue my future art projects and learned so much. My 9 year old absolutely loved these classes! Janet is so knowledgeable and EXTREMELY good with children. She's patient and encouraging and clearly loves her craft. Her sewing studio is neatly organized with nickknacks and so many fun things for the kids to use in their projects. My child still uses the little totes and pillows she made with Janet. Big thumbs up from us!

Wow! What a find. I was looking for somewhere to get seweing lessons for my granddaughter before committing to getting her a sewing machine and boy, Poppets IS the place. I emailed Janet and she responded immediately with questions and clarifications to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. The studio space is lovely and organized and welcoming. Janet's ability to connect with her student and meet her right at her own level was great. My granddaughter loves her lessons and is really improving. I cannot recommend Poppets enough.
