Stumbled on this place last weekend and couldn’t have had a better time. The people were so welcoming and kind, the music too good for such a small cover and all around atmosphere was fantastic. I wish I caught the bands name. Can’t wait to go back. One of my favorite nights out in a long time.

I have been to ransom steel many times, and was just there on Friday the 15th to watch a band and this is a top-notch place when you walk in it as if you were walking into big a log cabin that's the best way I can explain it.
The atmosphere is very good very nice and cozy the bar and the walkway between it may seem small but there are tables to sit at and there is a second floor with a full bar that was in the not in use at the time as well.

I've only marked the food at three stars because when I was there at the time there was always pizza and garlic knots, And I've never been there to have like a full food service meal or anything else like that So when I was there just the other night they had pizza and garlic nuts which were amazing

Stage is nice and thick enough for a good size band to perform on it from the two photos of the band that was playing yesterday was our friends from Broken Arrow there it has great sound resonance because of the wood.

The service is super quick ( we came during the week but it’s equally amazing on show nights .. ) the food is amazing .. the staff is amazing and really get to know their customers !!! If you come on a show night , expect to be moved from downstairs tables to accommodate dancers !!!! As long as you know ahead of time you should be ok 🙂 I advise TRY IT OUT! You may be presently surprised !!!

Quite a good place with a warm live music that attracts a multitude of people. Good bar, funny staff members and overall went to have a good time. Place is accurate for a mixed crowd from young to old. Join in, it's a fun place!

Stopped in on wing night. The bartender greeted us immediately. The draft selection was good. We tried several different flavors of wings. Wings took a little bit of time, but they were worth the wait as they are smoked not fried. As we waited for food, I did notice several spots around that needed attention. Dust and cobwebs were in corners and on the lights. Food is good & bartender was friendly Can't wait to be back for a live band night.

Place is out of touch with the people in apalachin and unfortunately has gained a bad reputation for the crowd the bar attracts. Their attempt of trying to create an ithaca type venue outside of ithaca ultimately became their downfall as the people of apalachin are far different from the people of ithaca.

Food is alright but the place is boring. Nothing to do besides stare at a wall. Very nice aesthetic but lacks any type of entertainment when the music isn't blaring and you're trying to scream over it. Hopefully the next owner does right by the bar and takes advantage of what could be a great bar.
