If you are searching for a facility that puts the residence first, both in their Medical Needs as well as their daily living environment, then look no further, as the Residence at Deer Creek goes above and beyond in providing that level of care. I have had a sibling living there for the past 7 months. The quality of care from the Executive Staff, the Nurses and the remaining support staff has been outstanding
Take the time to personally visit with the staff, take a tour of the facility and see all that they have to offer.
You will not be disappointed !!!

Mom lived her final 21 months at Deer Creek in Memory Care. The nurses and staff were top notch, showing genuine love, care and patience for mom's entire stay. They helped with dressing, bathing, daily meds, eating, and getting in and out of a wheelchair and bed without ever showing frustration. Mom responded back with genuine appreciation in her heavy accented "Tank you, tank you!", and she enjoyed participating in group activities. In memory care, when visiting, you're often challenged whether to laugh or cry; the staff would always keep residents dealing with anxiety on any given day close by the nurses station to provided extra care. Low staff turnover and genuine empathy seemed to play a significant role to mom's ability to live her final years with dignity in a secure, safe environment. On behalf of my siblings and myself, thank you!

My mother lives here and requires extra assistance. The staff is very caring and attentive. The full-time CNA's are very good to her and help lift her spirits. The building and common areas are kept clean. The food and the food service team is excellent. The management team has always been responsive to mom’s needs and my requests. I wanted to surprise my mom with a little pizza party one day. The concierge went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Mom was so happy.

My sister lived here. It was the very best choice for us. Every single department contributed to her excellent care and services. The kindness of the staff was immeasurable. The quick move in process was handled exceptionally well by the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing who coordinated everything with us and the hospital. When we arrived, everything was waiting for us and just perfect for my sister.

The attention she got, the warmth and caring shown to her and our family will never be forgotten.

This review is strictly for The DON Frances Guyton-Ward. She Very Unprofessional , She’s Rude & talk to her Aides Very disrespectful, she tried to belittle them because of the higher position she’s in. I never met Someone who wakes up anger & come to work with that bad Energy. But Overall it’s a Pretty good place. The Aides & Nurses is Very friendly.

My mother lived here for 5 months. She was wheel chair bound and required extra assistance. The staff was very caring and attentive. The nursing staff, especially Debbie, was always willing to take the time and discuss medications and her overall health. The full-time CNA's were very good to her and helped lift her spirits. The building and common areas were kept clean. The food and the food service team is outstanding. The management team is fully engaged in the operations and were always very responsive to our requests. I visited and interviewed several places prior to moving her here, and we decided that the Residences at Deer Creek was best for her needs, and they really delivered.

Please be aware that some of the sales tactics at this facility can be misleading. When we met with the team they informed us that we could place a $500 deposit to stay in “queue” for a room in the memory wing. At the time my mother and I were told that the deposit was refundable. Unfortunately my father passed before we were able to move him in and subsequently, we are now told that the $500 is NOT refundable. The non-refundable nature of the deposit should have been stated upfront. Since we took them at their word, we did not receive a receipt, just confirmation that they cashed the check. Truly disappointing.

It is not an easy decision to place a loved one but working with the Residences at DC has been a great experience. Everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff has been wonderful to work with...and continues to be wonderful months in to this experience. Many compliments on your caring and concern for both residents and family members!
