Had a great time at the festival at SandiaCasino. So many amazing artists! We had a delicious pizza in their food area and picked up some really beautiful art.

Arts Festival Goer
Had I not been to a wide range of arts festivals I’d give the Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival more stars. But for an arts festival that proudly declares 34 years I was unimpressed. I appreciate the tent’s protection from the sun, and the band provided a nice atmosphere but the crowd and the traffic was chaotic and in need of better (and kinder) management. Although after witnessing a woman driving on the wrong sure of the road I can understand why the majority of the traffic controllers seem frustrated. It’s hot and traffic is hard to direct. The parking garage is free though, and that allows more money to be spent on art. Which by right of a festival, is pricey. However, everyone in my family was able to find something they liked for under $40. Along with a potty break before getting stuck in traffic trying to get in the event, I recommend attending with an open mind and remember it’s hot, crowded, and expensive. But most art festivals are. Hopefully year 35 will flow more smoothly.

I’ve been attending these shows for years and they never disappoint. Kind, helpful staff, professionally run and well-organized. One of my favorite places to shop for gifts! There is always an exceptional lineup of artists and craftsmen.

Great art, fun atmosphere. There's a piano bar in the Big Tent and live music and excellent food trucks outside. The mass balloon launch is right across from the tent. I highly recommend it.

We're grateful that the organization chose to return to put on such an amazing event, showcasing amazing talent, at an amazing location. What a backdrop! Something for everyone. Entrance fee was fair. I'd like to get on the mailing list as a vendor.
Keep doing what you're doing. Obviously run by a team of professionals! We'll be back.

Given the logistics of getting the shows organized I think they are outstanding. Really enjoy vendors who come from out of state too. Many different talents represented. I always spend too much!
