Great day out Harley riding. Road Trip Bar & Grill was an excellent pit-stop, good food, service a bit slow but they were packed. Live music was very entertaining. We'll definitely be back.

This hidden gem is amazing! Great atmosphere, can’t beat the prize and the food was amazing! My whole family loved and enjoyed their meals . We got the shovel chicken dinner with mash potatoes and veggies, full rack of bbq ribs with fries ( Bomb and super soft!) , chicken burger with fries, NY steak with veggies and mash potatoes, Brother and sister in law got similar subs with steak and fries. Meal portions are great! This was my family’s and I first time here and won’t be our last . The staff are all so welcoming/kind and enjoyed the presence of our 4 month old baby girl .

Valentines Dinner at Road Trip was exceptional.
Started with
Roasted Bell Pepper Soup.
Followed with fried Calamari.
Lobster Tail was next and it was incredible
This was followed by either a Rib Eye, New York Steak or Prime Rib.
Scalloped Potatoes and Asparagus
Desert was strawberry shortcake
Great night great company and super staff

Another great meal. In had the prime rib special perfectly rare with horse radish. The meat easily covered 3/4 of the plate vegis and scalloped potatoes. Mama had a philly cheese sandwich it was great as normal. Great atmosphere excellent service

I don't to to Capay often, but when I do it's to stop by Road Trip Café.

I went with a group for our occasional car-related get-together, and got the Big Frick'n' Cobb Salad and a side of onion rings.

The salad was delicious, the veggies were fresh, the bacon was crisp, the ham and chicken were juicy. It's as big as the name implies, and I barely managed to finish it. The onion rings were crispy and delicious, but I couldn't finish those.

The staff are always nice and offer prompt service, and the interior has a really cool look to it, with old ads, photos, and local newspapers laminated into the tables.

There is also a large outdoor seating area, and live music on certain days.

Overall, definitely worth the trip!

Excellent food and service. The price matches the quality without a doubt. You get a bang for your buck here. It's a little hidden gem That you take a beautiful ride to get there. The bloody marries are quite amazing. You get a pepperoni stick that you can drink through. What I like most. Is they don't rely on their sauces to make their barbecue good. It's good by itself. And then you add on their homemade sauces. Their chicken fried steak was amazing as well very rich in flavorful. How it should be. I will be coming here for a long time with food like this

On our way to a camping trip in Mendocino County, we stopped at Roadtrip Bar and Grill, a charming roadside spot offering a wide variety of American favorites. Among their offerings, the barbecue brisket sandwich seemed to be a crowd favorite.

Upon arrival, we were seated next to a party with numerous noisy children. Fortunately, the waitresses were accommodating and let us move to another section of the restaurant without any fuss.

I ordered a club sandwich, which was served on grilled sourdough bread. Unfortunately, while one side of my sandwich was perfectly grilled, the other side wasn't grilled at all. I had requested onion rings with my sandwich, but both items were initially served cold and unappetizing. However, the server was kind enough to replace my sandwich without any hassle. It was evident that my original order hadn't been cooked properly, but once I received a hot, fully cooked sandwich and hot onion rings, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Despite this hiccup, everyone else in our party enjoyed their food. The service was great, the interior was clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. Given that Roadtrip Bar and Grill is a small establishment off a country road between a major California thoroughfare and a beach getaway, it exceeded our expectations.

Additionally, they have a huge parking area that easily accommodated our RV and truck pulling a trailer. Ten more groups with similar setups could have parked there without any difficulty. The restaurant also features a large outdoor dining patio, substantial indoor dining space, bar seating, and some sort of attached shop that I didn't visit.

Overall, it was a cool spot, and we'll definitely be back.

Loved the atmosphere great staff but my fries were cold and the chicken on my sandwich was very very thin getting close to paper I'll try it one more time hoping the food will be better cuz its a great place

This is a nice spot. It is clean inside with a great vibe. We went in for the dollar burger dollar fries Thursday deal. It was worth the price. The waitress was not the best nor worse I have had. It is in the Esparto area, and I would say worth the drive.
