Went to the Rockler in Concord, CA to take advantage of the 50%off sale and found a couple of items that I didn't know that I needed or wanted along with the two items that were on my list. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and able to make it easy for me to find everything. They also helped me get everything out to the car. While the layout of the store has been updated since the last visit, it was still easy to find everything.

This place is a great store if you happen to have an excess of money and want some seriously high end woodworking tools! The staff was helpful and knowledgable, stayed around for the entire decision making process all the way to loading stuff into my car. Will go back as soon as I can afford to.

Took a bowl turning class at the concord store. Enjoyed the class very much and got out of it what I wanted. While there I shopped the store. Manager Jessi and Bruce were great to talk to and pointed me to some items I didn’t know I needed for lathe work. Dan taught the class and as I said. I learned everything I was hoping to learn. Will be looking for other classes they offer and will definitely go back to the store. Note: I live 3 hours from this store and plan to go back.

I believe sales lacks a bit. When asking for something, I would feel that the salesperson should walk a customer over to show them what is available and where it is located. All in all its still a great company. Will still shop there.

I love Rockler and all of the excellent woodworking products that are reasonably priced. I like that they sell small components that allow you to build your own jigs which is the reason for my latest trip to the store. One thing that was not reasonably priced were the wood scraps that were in the shorts bin. To my surprise it is priced by the pound, and for a short 1-1/2" x 2' piece of 3/4" poplar, that I assumed might cost $.50 or so (since it is a scrap cutoff) priced out a $7.50.
