Recently had a group show 'got a queer funny feeling' at Rubicon and had a great experience! (Pictures at @pho_tho_ on insta x)

Communication was pretty good and the install process was easy and convenient and Rubicon has all the basics to install. The space had been renovated recently, i think, and it's nice and clean with good natural light. It's nice that we didn't have to patch holes after deinstall! It also feels rare especially for an ARI to not have to sit the gallery, which is sooo nice and convenient especially when you're an artist who also works a day job.
Neil, the gallery owner, is a nice guy and was very easy to work with.

I had my "Hidden Becomes Visible" exhibition here in 5-22 July 2023. My name is Michal Plis. As a customer of this gallery who had some of my artworks sold I am happy with the galleries efforts including assistance in setting up my exhibition. I'm an abstract artist making artworks with flourescence studying emotions, movement and nature. This gallery is newly renovated and in the heart of Melbourne. There is artist studio rooms for rent as well. Neil one of the gallery managers is friendly and accommodating in helping me exhibit next month. It's an artist run ARI gallery giving opportunity to emerging artists to exhibit. Multiple exhibitions each month. Worth a visit. Enter through the back entrance staricase. Plenty of parking during the day using EasyPark app

Poor publicity, nice enough small space. Director was very late in sending details or invites but quick on the invoice. It wasn't manned when I went in to visit an earlier show. Also quite rude in communication with artists. Disorganised and unprofessional.

Small, crowded at opening, and NO signage or labels for works or even different exhibitions happening concurrently. Otherwise a decent space that's pretty convenient once you work out where the entrance is (round the corner, up the stairs)
