I love this museum. The Sacramento Regional Fire Museum is one of the best museums in the greater Sacramento area. I learned so much history about the fire trucks, the fire alarm system, and the firefighters.

The museum has a great collection of anything related to the fire department. From clothes to more than hundred year old fire engines. The volunteer workers were so proud of their jobs before they retired from the fire department and gave us a very detailed explanation of each item in there.

This is a much see museum in the Sacramento area if you’re interested in the history of fire engines and more information about how people fought fires in the old days. I highly recommend the Sacramento Regional Fire Museum to anyone who lives in the Sacramento area or comes visiting the area. You’ll not disappointed.

Larry is the man!

He gives so much information and makes the whole experience of going to the museum amazing.

So many cool things to look and learn.

They have a small section for kiddos.

Lots of photo opportunities.

They're also trying to have classes in the near future.

Stop on by and support the local museum.

Awesome place to look at California firefighting history. Great collection of fire trucks, fire engines and equipment. My 3 year old loved sitting on the trucks and the docents were super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place for all ages.

The main goal of the Sacramento Regional Fire Museum is to display items related to the history of the Sacramento region’s fire service history.

The on-site exhibits showcase a variety of items, including artefacts, documents, and old firefighting equipment.

Our family visited the Sacramento Regional Fire Museum for the first time today and had a blast! Henry gave us a spectacular tour and we learned so much about historical and current firefighting techniques, equipment, vehicles, etc. It was really neat seeing all of the dated vehicles and how they operated at the time. Thanks again for the awesome tour, Henry! We will definitely be back again.

Great place to learn the history of fire fighting around Sacramento. Keeping equipment that was about to be thrown away by the city.
