Altamont is so cute in its own right but this beautiful little hidden gem adds to its charm. You'll miss it when you drive by if you don't have your eyes peeled but there's on street parking, a little free library, a rock labyrinth, gorgeous wildflowers and xenoscaping all throughout plus lush grass, a covered Pavillion, some benches and a cute small playground.

You have to look for this park as it's sweet far back, a real hidden gem! Have been a hand full of times and is usually empty. My active 19 month old loves it here, it's not overwhelming with activities/structures and is small enough that he can explore independently. Stroller friendly. Could use more benches for parents.

The village of Altamont has a handful of parks. This one is nice because it's more children friendly. A nice little spot for adults to relax while their children are apply. Conveniently located off of maple Ave and you might just get a chance to wave hello to your neighbors walking by. The only reason why I get this four stars is because there's always room for improvement.

Super cute little park featuring a small covered pavilion with benches, a labyrinth, beautiful gardens, a grassy greenway, and a sweet little playground suitable for toddlers. My daughter absolutely loves coming here to run around and play--it's usually very quiet so we often have the run of the place. It's a perfect spot to come for a picnic, playdate, or just to sit and study or read a good book. Very well-maintained too--you can tell that whoever is in charge of upkeeping this little park takes their job seriously and does it well. I don't know if that person(s) will see this review, but if they do, thank you for all that you do! Schilling Park is such a sweet hidden gem in the heart of the Village of Altamont!

Love coming here with my 3 year old son. He loves climbing and sliding. It's a pretty neat little park plus it's close by so that is nice.
