I was disappointed with the service I received on August 24. As a loyal customer who had traveled from another state to potentially purchase more equipment, I wanted to test it out first. I expected a level of customer service that reflects the company's reputation for excellence.

Upon entering the store, I felt that the staff were not interested in my presence, and the overall customer service was unwelcoming. I initially left, thinking it might have been my fault for not asking for help. So, I decided to return and specifically ask for assistance. I inquired about testing some of the equipment on display, but my request was ignored. The sales representative gave my brother and me a brief, vague explanation of the products, then seemed completely uninterested in making a sale and was in a hurry to return to his computer. We ended up leaving without buying anything.

This experience was both disappointing and frustrating, especially considering the effort I made to visit the store in person. Unfortunately, this has led both my brother and me, who are passionate about coffee and gear, to consider other vendors. I hope this incident is not reflective of the usual service at Seattle Coffee Gear and that future customers will have a better experience.

Had an amazing experience buying coffee beans at this store! Our Breville coffee machine was purchased from their online website during COVID, and we kept the relationship going by ordering the beans online too!

Chris enhanced the experience at the store by offering a sample of a freshly brewed cup of coffee - needless to mention we bought the beans that we sampled!

They are new to our neighborhood, so please stop by. Oh, by the way, they are offering a 10% discount on the coffee beans right now!

Great experience at Seattle Coffee Gear. The staff is friendly and helpful and not pushy. There is a large selection of coffee and espresso machines on display. I visited the location multiple times until I finally decided to buy the Diletta Bello+ and I'm very happy both with the machine and the level of customer service I have received so far. The manager Brandon gave me an in store demonstration and one of the employees personally wheeled my new espresso machine to my car on a cart. After this, I called in to ask some questions and they were patiently answered. Looking forward to enjoying the new gear.

I love this place. Great selection of coffee beans and the employees are super knowledgeable plus customer care is very nice. I bought a Baratza Sette 270 from them. It was defective so I gave them a call, and when I went to go pick up a better replacement they also gave me a free bag of coffee beans too of my choice! They didn’t offer though, had to ask.

I think over the years the quality of the customer service and the overall enthusiastic energy of this place has gone down quite a bit which makes me sad as I love this place a lot, and they really are the only place in town that specializes in a shop dedicated to coffee nerds. For example, when I ask for a sample pour over grinded using the ode instead of the baratza as it is easier to pull a better flavor using it, the request is ignored and they grind using the baratza resulting in an off tasting pour over making it hard for me to choose a coffee bean to buy. Would suggest to be more open to coffee conversations with customers in the future although I get it is hard to have that kind of energy all the time.

Seattle Coffee Gear is a phenomenal place to see and learn about the vast array of coffee machines and functionality. But even better, Brandon is a coffee machine guru, and really spends the time to understand your needs…before doing any recommending. Brandon is amazing!!! Great customer service.

Had a very my positive experience at this store, despite a mix-up with my order. I received a different coffee machine than the one I had originally selected. Brandon and his team swiftly took care of the situation, ensuring that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Their willingness to rectify the mistake and make things right was truly commendable. They have a wide collection of beans and their staff is very helpful in addressing your questions and concerns.

They sell a great variety of coffee and machines. We go in for the coffee beans - they have a terrific coffee bean selection but if you're in the market for a machine or tools (scales, tampers, grinders, etc,) check them out! They have all the gadgets you can play with and sample coffee from them before you buy. We are like kids in a candy store here.
