Great family hotel! We love the Ponto Suites with a king and two twin beds. Fun pool, great restaurant on site and close to everything. We have stayed here several times and each time is always a great experience. They have a back entrance to Lego land which we have utilized when our kids were younger but now we stay here anytime we are in town for a soccer tournament. The staff is always so kind and attentive to our needs.

Very nice resort hotel! I was only there 1 night so I stayed in the resort. Dinner at 7 Mile kitchen was excellent, and breakfast was very good (hard to make a bad breakfast, but this was really good with tasty homestyle potatoes and fresh fruit). I took location down 1 star because it's up the hill from downtown Carlsbad, which appeals to me, but the resort is very comfortable and fully self contained if you want to relax in one place. Service was very attentive at the hotel and the restaurant. I will go there again in the near future!

Sayler and Peyton (the children) loved the pool and the comfy beds. Also loved the private entrance to Legoland! The two queen beds were awesome for doing ninja jumps from one to the other. Kevin was not helpful! No restaurant reservations or where to find a pharmacy.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay in. Grace at the front desk was so helpful and considerate. Not only was she able to upgrade us to a suite (so that our kids had their own beds), she was able to upgrade my in-laws as well so we were in the same building. She was also able to help us get to Legoland through the back entrance!||Pros: Clean, not too crowded, family-friendly, great pool/hot tub. Amazing, friendly staff.|Cons: The toilet in the first room we were in didn't work, so we ended up swapping to a lower level room. The restaurant on site had minimal service (no lunch on the weekdays), and the to-go marketplace wasn't fully stocked. I walked over to the Westin to grab a couple of pastries at their coffee shop, but they were out.

This is the worst Sheraton that I’ve ever stayed.
At first, when we checking in, the receptionist told us our room is on the second floor with room number 212*, when we got to the elevator, all the second floor room number start from number 2200. So we need to went back to the lobby to make sure where the room located.
Second, they didn’t inform us that we will be charged for $10 each day for borrowing microwave.
Third, the complementary coffee never been refilled after 10 A.M. the first day, I was there around 9:30 to get some coffee but the creamer was out. So I informed the receptionist name ‘Maria’ and instead of assisting, she told me to request it to the staff at the restaurant. The second day, I was there around 10 AM and no more coffee. When I asked the waitress at the restaurant, they said the coffee is not meant for hotel guests instead it’s for corporate people. Very confusing.
Fourth, the cleaning staff didn’t really pay attention to the details like shampoo, body wash, bottle water, and tea. I have to called the front desk everyday to asked for the refill.
Also there’s no signal for Verizon provider so it needs to get connected to the Wi-Fi.
I really hope they can be more informative and pay attention to the details in the room.

I recently stayed at The Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa for a week while visiting friends after moving away from North County six months ago. What a wonderful experience! The highlight of my stay was Taryn—she had a smile every time I saw her and truly made my day. She made me feel like I was back home again. The resort went above and beyond, even upgrading my stay, which was an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. Every time I visit North County, this will be my go-to place to stay!

Amazing staff and beautiful rooms! We loved our stay. The rooms was very spacious and the restaurants were also delicious. We also had the bonus of using the legoland walking path which was an added bonus. Pool was semi heated but the hot tub was also nicely maintained

Nice place but paper thin walls. You can’t get a good rest here. Sorry to say. You hear everyone walking above your room to where the walls shake. You hear people talking as they walk down the halls. It is honestly one of the worst places I have stayed. The staff at front desk are nice but I guess I should have asked for a room far away from others. I didn’t know they built hotels this thin. So if you are looking for a good night sleep and relaxing. Do not come here. Won’t happen.
