I have taken classes at various yoga studios in Bishop and I have definitely enjoyed the classes at Sierra Shanti the best. They offer an incredible variety of types and levels of classes and events that that go beyond simply yoga. Lauren, the owner and one of the instructors is so dedicated and encouraging. She has worked really hard to create a community space that welcomes all no matter what your level, skill or interest. I have been so impressed with how she has maintained this space throughout the difficult pandemic times. It clearly is reflective of her dedication to, love of and vision for, what she does! I can't recommend Sierra Shanti enough and really encourage you to check out her classes and upcoming events!

i have not been able to attend the studio in Bishop. i did, however, attend an online class and it was great. Lauren is a fantastic teacher, not only extremely knowledgeable about yoga, but it's clear that she loves what she does, and really cares about her students.

I love Sierra Shanti! Lauren is such a beautiful soul and has created a loving environment for everyone to practice in. I love the different classes that are offered and I also love the different workshops we have access to.

There are times in my life where I have experienced true bliss. Knowing Lauren and her passions and getting to hold space with her on different occasions, seeing her manifest her passions into her own studio, Sierra Shanti, and then subsequently being able hold space therein was one of those times. A world-class yoga studio with a big heart right in Bishop! I've been practicing yoga for 15 years and have taken hundreds of classes all over the county. Imagine my surprise to find such an incredible studio in little Bishop, California. Wonderful, inspired yoga classes in Shiva Rea's Prana Vinyasa tradition with a focus on both physical and energetic alignment. I attended Tiffany's $5 community class on Sunday, then Meredith's Tuesday and Wednesday classes. Classes are reasonably priced and the weekly and monthly passes are a steal. Do yourself a favor and get a little yoga in while you're here in Bishop. I'd come back just for this studio and nothing else.

I recently started attending their classes virtually and I gotta say its been a great experience. Having a membership motivates me to do the workouts and they have a good variety of classes to choose from. Cant wait till we can do indoor classes again! But they have done a good job of keeping things going virtually.
