If you’re looking for a true neighborhood coffee shop this is it!

I went mid day on a week day and it was steady. It was like a modern day Cheers. The barista knew everyone that walked up to the counter. She was genuine in her conversations and made sure to have a connection - something that is uncommon today.

The coffee was great and they roast it on-site.

Overall a great spot, I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town.

Atmosphere is great but coffee is ok. I tried three different kinds of latte. They are almost the same. I know nowadays many people like light roasted but not me.

The ambiance here is fantastic—perfect for meeting friends, catching up with colleagues, or getting some work done. The vibe is inviting and ideal for a relaxed hangout.

However, the coffee is disappointing. I’ve tried several drinks, and they all have the same unusual taste, no matter the latte. It’s hard to pinpoint but definitely off. A few friends agree, so it’s not just me. It might have to do with how they roast the beans. Interestingly, I noticed the same flavor at another nearby shop, Blue Butterfly, which sources coffee from the same place—Smokey Hollow.

As a coffee shop, the coffee should be the highlight, but it falls short. I’m giving three stars because the setting is great, but the coffee isn't there.

Lastly, the staff could bring more energy. They sometimes seem uninterested or upset, and while it’s not a dealbreaker, a little friendliness on a Monday morning helps.

Discovered this place on an unexpected travel delay and have made it a point to stop by again every time visiting LA. Great tasting coffee roasted on location, fantastic atmosphere and above and beyond service.

Take a seat, play a game of chess and relax in the laid back atmosphere

You can tell that the team here cares about crafting great coffee and are dedicated to the business.

Love this coffee spot!! I got a matcha croissant and a cappuccino. Sat here for a bit as well to get some work done - terrific environment and there were plenty of seats!

Cute coffee shop tucked away in the back. There is a parking lot, but only 2 are designated parking spots for the coffee shop, and the other spots are for other businesses around there. Drinks itself were good and good vibes from the staff members. We got dirty chai and dirty matcha and both were great.

Cool urban vibes for great hot or cold coffee drinks, a muffin and a relaxing place to sit and relax. A fair amount of seating and also a small spot outside as well in the parking lot.

Inside the roastery. Rustic and fun. Usually impossible to get seating but this trip was ok. Main complaint is never enough staff on hand so the wait can be long. Maybe part of the charm? (I try not to come if I’m in a hurry). The morning buns are to *to die for*. Some type of flaky sugary pastry wrapped into a muffin tin. Maybe puff pastry or croissant dough? And I buy my coffee beans from here pretty much exclusively as I like the walk from/to home, and they give you a complimentary cup of drip coffee with every bag o’ beans.
