The good - close to airport and car rental return. Large spacious room. All rooms had a balcony! Bad - slightly dated. The tub drained slowly! Ugh so gross. Standing in the water from the shower is unpleasant. Also $30 to park despite a very large parking lot.

Surprisingly, it is very comfortable and homey. The rooms are clean. The bathroom was spotless and came with a good supply of fresh towels. The rooms are quite soundproof. I could hear people in the hall, but once they entered their rooms, it was silent.

The TV did not offer Amazon Prime, which was a negative for me.

The downstairs lobby had several strategically placed seating areas, one with a gas fireplace. There is an outdoor courtyard with seating and a corn hole game.

There is a breakfast station which opens at 6:00 am offering a variety of juices, muffins, bagels and other breakfast items.

The airport shuttle was on time.

Hotel was nice and in a great spot to go to the beach and get to LAX, but the check in and check-out process was a nightmare.

Check-in took over 45 minutes as there was only one desk agent working the desk at 4 PM (the designated check in time). For a hotel that charges extra to check-in early and has a late (not crazily late but about as late as you’ll see) check-in time, it’s only practical to expect the hotel is staffed to handle that wave of people. The slow check in impacted plans to travel into the city as traffic got considerably worse during the time we were meant to be getting ready.

Check out also took ages as the desk agent didn’t immediately accept my keys and had me wait in line behind a guest that took 10-15 minutes to check in.

Maybe not the staffs fault but a knock regardless.

I had a great stay at this location. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel is very affordable and just an 8-minute drive to LAX airport, making it incredibly convenient. It has a Starbucks inside the hotel. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and value near the airport!

My family and I had to evacuate our home in Brentwood due to the unfortunate Palisades wildfires. We chose to take refuge here because it was both affordable and safe from the fires. I have to say, the front desk staff truly went above and beyond to welcome us with compassion and understanding. We had our husky with us, and one of the staff members even opened a fresh bottle of Fiji water to give our dog clean water in a bowl. That thoughtful gesture really means a lot to us. We had to cut our stay short because, after settling in, our circumstances unexpectedly changed, requiring us to check out earlier than planned. The staff graciously allowed us to adjust our reservation without any penalties. This experience truly showed us how the people of LA come together during challenging times. I would highly recommend staying here because the staff are truly exceptional humans.

Extremely Rude stuffs! The hotel staff hung up my call straight away before I finished speaking!
I was asking about the refund for the deposit I had paid. I used a debit card, and the bank confirmed that the hotel hadn’t returned the payment. So, I called back to check the status of the refund, but the staff hung up my call straight away again! The hotel NEVER returned deposit!

I stayed for a couple of nights over New Years, and the front desk staff are amazing. I don't know what yall are paying Doreen but it is not enough, she is so hard working and kind.

It seems that upper management have some issues with how they manage the logistics of the place since the initial room we were given was completely not ready, with unwashed bedding piled on a chair and rubbish strewn on the floor. We were given another room that was ready, but the whole check in process took more than 45 minutes because only one person was available at the front desk. Management needs to staff more people or sort out their rostering system. Their technology system could probably also use an update. If you use an international credit card for the deposit, be prepared to not receive your deposit back for a month. I am still waiting.

The room itself was cosy but needed constant airing as it smelled musty. Our twin room had a mini fridge and a coffee machine but no kettle. The beds are pretty comfortable and warm.

The location is within walking distance to a couple of fast food places, a Ralphs, and also a metro station. Free luggage storage is available both before check in and after check out.

The free shuttle was 30 minutes late for pick up but you can't really complain given 1. it's free and 2. the LAX traffic. If you use this service make sure you book it for earlier than you think you need to be at the airport.

Overall this place is "you get what you pay for" to a T.
