My son had the opportunity to take a class here and expectations were exceeded. He's very nervous with people he doesn't know but everyone was very kind to him and taught him very well. We had an injury (at home) the day of his second class, when I called them to say he couldn't make it they were very accommodating to reschedule for the next week. Watching them work with my child and the other children in class was wonderful. I'm amazed at the kindness and patience of all the employees. Will absolutely recommend them to everyone.

5 stars to Sonora School of Sewing. I took their adult beginner/intermediate weekend intensive class and learned a lot. As a very beginner sewer I walked away feeling more confident about how to use my sewing machine and sewing garments. Tiffany was our instructor and she is amazing! Very patient, knowledgeable, and wonderful instructor.

I highly recommend taking the sewing classes here. The building is so charming and calming. I drove from the Bay Area (1.5 hours each way) and I plan to take more of their classes. If you’ve been thinking about learning to sew or to elevate your sewing skills check out Sonora Sewing School. Bonus is their location. In the heart of downtown Sonora walking distance to lots of restaurants and coffee shops.

This place is amazing when it comes to altering clothing! Meghan helps and assists me in how and what I should do. Also, she does one-on-one which makes it so much easier to work on projects. Worth your time and money to have an appointment.
