Attending Southern Technical College was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! From the moment I enrolled, I felt supported every step of the way. The staff and instructors genuinely care about their students’ success, always going the extra mile to provide guidance, mentorship, and encouragement. I gained lifelong mentors throughout my program who helped shape my career and continue to inspire me today.

One of the things I appreciated most was the flexibility of the schedules, which made it possible to balance school with my personal life. The college also made learning fun by engaging with students beyond the classroom.

If you’re looking for a school that not only prioritizes education but also creates a strong sense of community, Southern Technical College is the place to be. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive and engaging learning experience.

It was never in my plans to come to this school to become a medical assistant. It just took a little push and just like that I signed up for the program and never looked back. The professors (who are now deans, admins or just simply left) were the best. They were really my mentors that help push me to become the medical assistant I am today. After I completed the 8-month program, I got a job offer before graduation. I was then offered to sign up for the associate's program for the medical assistant. This school is not built for the weak but if you walk in with a negative mindset then it will be very hard to succeed. It's okay to have some classmates that you work closely with but at the end of the day don't let someone else dim your light and pivot from your end goal and that is to get your Get your certification and make that MONEY!! I would like to say Thank you to Ms. Michelle, Ms. Legrand, Ms. Carrie, Mr. Ryan, Ms. Stefank and Leo the security guard. Thank you for the push and for the words of affirmations that motivated me to finish to the end!

Started medical assistant in Oct 2023, & within 10 months I graduate from the medical assistant diploma program. Southern technical helped me get a job right after externship and they continue to check on me even after that. They gave me everything I needed to succeed in my field. The teachers are great, very hands on and always willing to help in whatever way they can. I recommend going to this school.

I was in the MA field and it was an excellent field they work so perfect with my schedule and the teacher and staff are the best and always there looking out for you i recommend this school so much!!! i’m really satisfied that i went to this college was the best decision to start my career.

This school took out a loan in my name while I was there in 2014. then I later now found out the loan was taken out for another college that I never went to its in my FASFA account showing that the loan is in a different school name

DO NOT GO HERE THE REVIEWS ARE REAL YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER TO THEM. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. The teachers here are nice and help but the whole business side is very messy. I had two scheduled appointments with them and both times the person I was supposed to meet was not there. I was actually almost done with my program. The very last month because they made an opinionated decision that they believed I couldn’t finish 180 hours in an externship I was dropped mid way when I was doing 50 hour work weeks WITH A WHOLE MONTH LEFT TO FINISH they dropped me. They said I could come back but I just had pay again but why take me back when I could’ve just finished the program in the first place. They will do everything they can to get more money out of you. By the way being a good kid and getting good grades doesn’t matter you have to pay to be apart of honors society like if it isn’t something you earn. HORRIBLE TECH SCHOOL DO NOT GO. Ps. This was the vet program. NEVER HANDS ON RARELY ONCE A MONTH.

I started in August of 2021 for vet assisting and was blatantly lied to while applying as they kept telling me that everything was hands on and very rarely online. All of the courses except for the externship was literally just PowerPoints and worksheets and maybe like 2 or 3 actually hands on activities. I do not recommend applying and wasting your money here and to just go somewhere else that can get you more experience and knowledge for roughly the same cost. While I was there they never had a teacher stay for more than like 2 months and then quit. Staff is unorganized and money hungry and don't care about your personal life. I repeat do NOT go here
