A beautiful church with the best pastors! We’ve been parishioners here for years and love the families we’ve met here as well as the parish staff. Marcello is phenomenal at keeping the grounds looking fantastic and making it a safe and fun space for the families to enjoy time outside of Mass at. If you’re looking for the Truth, it’s well spoken and loved here.

Please come visit newly renovated inside church building. Environment inspires the soul to think about the spiritual while in the material world. I love the True Presence🌹

Beautiful Stations of the Cross!

For the uninstructed in the Catholic Faith, you will feel valued. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised by the warmth, wisdom, and wealth of beauty.

This past Sunday, I attended pancake breakfast that was a fundraiser for a house building in Tijuana. Last week, Taco Sunday gathered the hungry and mouths were fed!

Most importantly, you will hear the truth. You deserve to have the truth reach your ears. The salvation of souls is the business of the Church! It's about eternal life and where are you going to spend it?

In my purse, Fulton Sheen card gives me hope. You have precious freedom! You chose to will God's will or chose not - your choice!

I love the people who go here the choir is great father brian was amazing monsiner Hartnett was such an incredible priest as well as person and father jim is awesome I love how he breaks the homilies down and gives you something you might have missed or might not have considered your self

Beautiful and modern Catholic Church. I was made to feel welcomed by the parishioners. I live in Rancho Cucamonga and I'm here all week working. Attending Ash Wednesday Mass and it was marvelous.Very traditional mass was amazingly beautiful and enjoyable

Wonderful church, wonderful pastor. Very welcoming atmosphere. If you’re hard of hearing, sit up close because the acoustics in the back can be challenging for the elderly. Recommend coming here!

I went last Friday 7/23 for holy hour and business in any church is good news as we look to give and receive support in our journey of life in preparation for eternity... that is really what matters right? The chapel behind the church is almost hidden, but so peaceful.... come to rest in Our Lord

Love it at Saint John’s. Very nice church. Everyone is very welcoming. Another reviewer says something about a Latin mass. I have not heard a Latin mass yet at Saint John’s, but it would be really nice to hear one. Since English changes the translation a bit, and overtime English changes what words mean. Latin maintains its spoken and written word. That makes Latin a more powerful prayer. Especially knowing, the Latin mass was heard by people over a thousand years ago, and it is a nice way to connect with our ancestors. Also, how cool would it be to have some Gregorian chant. Let’s Go Latin, and Many blessings to Saint John’s!!!!!

Father Kevin Manion was filling in for father Kibaki who went home to Kenya for a visit with family. Father Kevin gave a great homily. Slice of old school Encinitas. It is always a homecoming every Sunday. Community, faith, charity, love, & commitment to God and God’s commandments. Father Jim’s weekly talks are the best. Everyone has the same kind intentions and caring when volunteering here.
