They chain up the park at night and sometimes forget to open it during the day. Can't possibly call it a "PUBLIC PARK" if you can't even enter it at will since it's supposed to be open to the public. I get it. Trying to find less expensive ways to keep the homeless out. I also understand, most of the homeless here are also addicts. I'm one myself! (Well I'm no longer homeless).

Point is:
1. I can't go to the park for a late night stroll to destress.
2. On government holidays, I play Russian Roulette on which park may be open so I can have a good afternoon or evening with my child.
3. Since we live in a desert, there is not a lot of open grassy areas.

Play on words. You see that? OPEN grassy areas. Because it's closed off!

I apologise. I wanted to be less upset for a second because this subject really bothers me...

Don't get stuck there by yourself at night. EC little league uses it, pop warner also. Plenty of room, nice grass and trees. The bathrooms are dirty, again do go in by yourself.

Good field for sports, but the playground usually has homeless and I wouldn't feel safe to let my kid play in the playground.
