Stopped by one day to inquire about lessons and found Susanne and Jack to be great instructors. Handling the clay was therapeutic not just for my mind but for my arthritic hands.
After giving both the wheel and hand building a try, Hand building became my choice of pottery and in time I was able to join one of the Gallery studios Jack has there.
The artists quickly became family! They are all very talented and unique in their style. Every piece handmade and unique! Love this studio, school and gallery!

Most of these reviews are about buying pottery. I agree and have bought gorgeous pieces. While I was there, though, I decided to take lessons. I am reviewing the lessons. They are an excellent value. Jack and Suzanne are right there to teach and help at all levels of skills, without being restrictive (as in we are doing this today). You get to make whatever YOU want to make that is within your skill level. I am so pleased with the pieces I was able to make, almost immediately, with their excellent guidance. What a rewarding hobby thanks to great teachers!

This is a must stop-by-and-see the wonderful pieces of pottery created by local artists. This is a great place to pick up a special piece for a special person for a special occasion. What a find! Are you in need of a gift? For a wedding? For a housewarming gift? Birthday gift? Or just a gorgeous piece of pottery? Stop in and visit Jack, Suzanne et al for a diverse sampling of beautifully handcrafted items. I stopped in 3 months after starting pottery classes at the VAC and am still so impressed by the skill and talent of these potters! Go visit and see for yourself!
