I’ve been training at Strikers Inc a few years now and it has become a refuge for me. I wanted to get in shape and figured I would learn a useful skill in the process! So martial arts for self defense it was. I have lost about 30lbs so far and my self-confidence, self-love, and sense of security in the world has increased!

I recommend this place to anyone in the area, especially the women and children!

My daughter, who is now 9, has also trained with Strikers Inc for a few years. She has shown improvement in self esteem, athleticism, and problem solving.

Life can be hard but I say, let’s do hard things in gentle spaces… like Strikers Inc!

I have been training with Coach Joseph since 2007. What separates Coach Joseph from other instructors is his close attention to each student, his beautiful demonstration of each technique and his willingness to work with your conditions, i.e., previous experience, age and athletic abilities.
I have been training martial arts over 40 years and consider Coach Joseph to be one of the best instructors.

This gym is my home, Coach Joe is family to me as well as the team who invest their time and energy here, i recommend you all to come in take class. Im confident youll love it and learn something not just about striking but about yourself, his class is deeply therapeutic for me and im sincerely grateful that strikers inc. If you're intimidated by the prospect of having to actually touch other people (let alone hit/kick them/get hit/kicked by them) I understand. I understand the idea of being freaked out by the intensity of this place, or even just the prospect of entering a "dungeon" filled with ripped, sweaty, shirtless people making loud noises. But surprise, surprise, these are the nicest people, and they're not there to hurt you- they're there to teach you and to learn with you and to grow with you.

Strikers is truly a family environment, where all levels of experience and skill are welcome and function in harmony. Coach Joe is incredibly passionate and one of the most skilled teachers--in any medium--I've ever had. Trust what he's telling you. He wants you to be better, and if he's bothering to critique you, it's because he knows you CAN be better.

Yes, you'll get into better shape physically, but functional training like this, where you learn a skill/art, will improve your mental clarity and agility as well. Plus it's really fun to have friends you're encouraged to hit.

And buy a mouthguard. They're much cheaper than the alternative.

The best Muay Thai gym in the area. I've been training with Coach Joseph Del Real since 2016 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Coach Joseph is razor focused on technique and teaches in a way that it's easy to understand. It's a safe environment for all levels, from beginners to competing fighters, and everything in between. Highly recommend.

Coach Joe teaches with a passion and hunger to make all of his students a better fighter than the last time they came to class. From pro fighters to new beginners, Joe has the experience and patience to train anyone.

I started my Muay Thai journey with Coach Joe at Striker's Inc. in 2016. I started with zero combat sports experience. I was pretty bad at it in the beginning, but something told me to keep sticking with it. And I ended up getting to become part of a family with like-minded individuals who were willing to put the gloves on, put in hard work, and have a good time. While I've moved out of the area since, I still consider this my home gym, and look forward to visiting whenever I am back in LA.

Having been at many other gyms since, I can tell you what I miss about Strikers. Bar none, I have to start with the people and the camaraderie. Next, I've seen other gyms that seem to care more about money, and feed you heavy bag combos without much instruction. Not with Coach Joe - he is passionate, and takes pride in teaching the details of the art. Coach has never turned me down after class if I had questions, or didn't understand something from class. I know some gyms get caught up in a structured program, or separating classes by student level. While this has its benefits, I appreciate Coach Joe's intuitive teaching style. He puts students of all ages and levels together in his classes, and he takes the time to tailor each session to the individuals who are there. This feels more like a community, where beginner and advanced students get to share in learning and developing together. The Strikers fam also helped me prep for my first fight - if you are looking to compete, Coach Joe will invest the extra time and effort to get you padwork rounds and sparring partners.

Deciding to step foot at Strikers, Inc, was a life-changing decision for me - I discovered a part of myself, and made so many friends I never would have found otherwise. And I hope more people get to share in all the good things I've gotten from being at Strikers. If you're thinking about it, I highly recommend you give it a shot and see what we are all about!
