The drive to Arbor Road is pleasant and very worth it. I attended a paper flower making workshop attended by five other women and the teacher. Everyone created a beautiful piece due to the instructor's guidance. It was a wonderful mid day spent outside (with a heater) in the air and garden.

I recently attended a painting class, and I must say it was a truly enriching experience. The instructor (Jean Choe) was not only talented but also an excellent teacher. She provided step-by-step guidance. Overall, the painting class was a wonderful way to unwind, explore my artistic side, and socialize with like-minded individuals. I left with a painting I was proud to hang on my wall.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Swirlworks offers a wide variety of fun, hands-on classes led by experts in letterpress printing, watercolor painting, floral design, etc, etc. Get crafty and creative in their beautiful outdoor, courtyard setting! Highly recommended for quality “me time” or a great girls outing. Woman owned local business!

Wonderful crafting and art classes in the back gardens of Allied Arts guild. I’ve taken two already (watercolor and felt ornaments) and loved both. the classes make great gifts for family and friends and are well organized and generally a great value. Highly recommend!

I've done several workshops at Swirlworks, and they have all been top-notch. The setting is gorgeous, serene, and a perfect place to tap your artistic potential. It's there even if you don't realize it.
The workshop artists are pros - patient, and they don't let you lose sight of the fact that the art is about engaging in the process, without angst about the outcome. I need that.
So far I've explored things that I've always been curious about - flower arranging and oil painting. I showed up, got to try something totally new to me, and got lost in the process. Swirlworks' artistes were great. They were patient, and gave everyone personal attention, making us all feel good about our time there, and the end-products we left with.
I was also psyched to try totally new activities in letter press, and watercolor painting. I now have my personally created cards. I loved it, even as I got a new appreciation for printing of old. Same for painting with watercolors.

Swirlworks makes it super easy to try new activities. It's a welcome break in my day, or a fun activity with friends. Highly recommend!

I took the calligraphy workshop at Swirl Works and it was amazing. I wanted to create hand-written thank you notes for my wedding as a special touch and the instructor did such a fantastic job with a total newbie. I am looking at the oil painting workshop next.
