Very rude customer service. 3 girls standing behind counter more worried about the phone. I’m looking at the Christopher Radko collection which they display behind the counter. Not one person acknowledged me or offered to show me the ornaments I was interested in. Walked out no sale.

It is always Christmas here! The store changes it’s displays and sales during the year so every visit feels fresh. Walk through the doors to smell the holiday cheer.

Very cute shop with so much to look at. My only issue was at checkout the two young ladies there were not friendly at all. The cashier didn’t greet me or converse at all. When she rang in our purchase I didn’t know where to put my card because the reader was behind the register and I couldn’t see it and she wasn’t talking to me so I just handed it to her after a moment. And the girl who was there to personalize ornaments flat out ignored my autistic sister. I understand that not everyone knows how to deal with people with special needs but the least you can do is be kind. My sister was a customer making a purchase and deserved to be treated like everyone else.

This store is by far the best Christmas shop to ever visit. My family has gone there for over 35 years. Each year we visit and my 4 children pick out an ornament. By the time the are married or live on their own they receive every ornament they have received through the years. Even now as they are older we still visit and pick up ornaments. The people have always been great, helpful, and courteous. We never have encountered a bad experience or individual. They are quick to assist should we have requests or needs. When I wished to purchase a store display they were happy to offer me the item. Great selections every year. We look forward to going this year of course with social distancing our visit with be a fine tango as we move around the shop. Suggest shop early before the crowds! Best selections ever. Do visit the candle shop. Great wreaths, candle options and accessories, and much more. If there was a shop I would move with me should I move away it would be the Christmas Shop in Smithville.

I bought an ornament here yesterday. And I will never come back. As I walked out- the woman working in the front area asked me about the ornament as if to see if I paid for it… because there’s two registers- one in front and back- I used the back. I was deeply offended by this.. I’m here with my family… with my 2 year old… you think I’m going to walk out with a $20 Christmas ornament without paying for it? I’ve never been more insulted. Never going back again

Love this place! One of my favorite stores in Smithville! I love the candle side. I’m always getting new scents of incense here. They’re a great price for them too. Just ask the cashier for a marker to label the bags. The employees were always friendly with me.

I stopped by earlier today and enjoyed this shop a lot. However, one of the employees was staring at me the entire time I was in her section of the store, as if she thought I was going to steal an ornament or something. Every single time I looked around and happened to see her, she was staring. She didn’t say one word to me the whole time I was there, just stared at me through her glasses. I didn’t see her do this with any of the other customers around me either. It made me super uncomfortable. Not sure if I want to visit again because of that.
