I attended DAE's inaugural art exhibit at their new location at 1st St, Long Beach, CA 90802. The gallery is smaller than the 3rd St. location, but this location is better for their business as well as the customer. After getting your art and oddities fixation, there are restaurants that are within walking distance of the gallery. Please stop by and tell them that I had sent you.
By the way, I had picked up this beautiful bat at the new location.

I stumbled upon this place while I was visiting the Long Beach area and I was not expecting it to be so cool. It's not a large gallery maybe a little over 1000 square feet, but it's packed with all sorts of cool, out of this world, and very macabre pieces of art and merchandise. The employee that was present was very courteous and when asked if I could take pictures of the pieces, was very encouraging of me doing so. I really took my time with everything because as soon as I thought I had seen the whole exhibit, something brand new caught my eye. If you love dark, twisted, and, of course, awesome art, don't hesitate to pop in.

I don't really like places that do not greet you upon entry,Especially since I was the only customer. Lol The art was ok. Way more expensive than it should be. Maybe train your employees how to have a personality, and basic knowledge of Customer service πŸ€”

The coolest, most macabre little place in Long Beach! It’s a little confusing to get into (you have to go through the pizza place), but it’s surprisingly large on the inside. The black walls and moody lighting fit perfectly, and I wanted absolutely everything! Also make sure to check out their podcast, ARTPIT, on their site or on SoundCloud, it’s a delight!
