This theater is gorgeous, intricate, eclectic, historic and all around beautiful vibes. Seating is adequate; not too small. Comfortable. Very good experience, highly recommend.

Seeing Soul Coughing at The Fillmore was an absolutely mind-blowing experience! It was their first performance in 25 years, and they truly rocked the house. The Fillmore is an amazing venue with a rich history that really adds to the magic of the night. The acoustics were incredible, making every beat and lyric sound crystal clear. The intimate layout ensures that no matter where you are, you feel connected to the performance. Plus, the iconic Fillmore posters lining the walls add a unique and nostalgic touch. I’d highly recommend reserving parking ahead of time on SpotHero—definitely made our trip there much smoother. The Fillmore is the perfect venue for a memorable concert experience!

Go to experience the history of this place that has hosted the pantheon of musical luminaries past and present. Taking in the posters is an endeavor on its own.

However, if you lack the desire or the stamina to stand for more than two hours, be aware that seating is limited to the bar or the balcony upstairs where the acoustics are distorted and the talking is loud.

The best sound is towards the back of the ballroom on the main floor and in the bar behind the balcony (where you can’t see the performer, but you can hear them great!).

Great venue, lots of history, good service and free water always at the bar. Only knocked a star because I desperately wish there were a free seating option, even at the back or something for when your feet are tired. Also sometimes the sound mixing feels a little heavy on the bass and lacking in vocals (but I find that true at many venues so may just be me). Still recommend, they get a lot of great artists in!!
