My friend from Alaska and I wanted to have a little glimpse of what the Gem show had to offer. She was leaving on the grand opening day of the area's shows. But we found this place and a few others nearby open, before she left. We had much fun looking at the exotic displays. They were too pricey for us, but we did find some beautiful pendants in another shop closeby. We bought a couple as souvenirs, of our adventure.

We really enjoy this show. Its a very nice gem show. It is made up of multiple large buildings filled will vendors. There is a nice sized dirt parking lot making it easy to find parking. They have a food vendor and you can find restaurants nearby.

Great selection of dealers for moderate to advanced collectors. Expect prices mostly in the $100s - $10,000s from all over the world.
Even if you have no wish or ability to buy, the show constitutes a phenomenal ephemeral museum.

This show is Perfect for specimen collectors, lots of high end, and even some wholesale deals if you know which vendors to see!

Lower venue prices = fair pricing on gems and not bloating the market for everyone else. I love this place for that very reason. Thank you to all the vendors that decided to make a change and try a new venue.

Don't forget to check the building behind Lester on Plata. Also, if you continue to walk down Lester, there's more sellers too. Although all vendors here are my favorite(!!) I purchased the most from Wendel & Pachamama.

Some of the best collections in Tucson have migrated to mineral city in the last few years. Lots of dealers from the old hotel Tucson show. The place is a maze so find a map and make sure you see all the buildings because it seems to get bigger every year!
