I have shopped here since 2015 and they are the BEST! I have acoustic bases, baritones, tenors, a baranjolele, straps, tuners and a multitude of support items! The vast majority I purchased over the years at The Nicholson Music Store.

I went in with my dad and bought a Strat. Norm and Eric were beyond cool. Norm is the man and knows what he is talking about and you can tell these guys are passionate about what they do. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and I can't speak highly enough about these two guys. This is the place I'll be going to for now on.

I did some in depth research on the best music store in the sac area and came away with Nicholson's as the answer. I brought in my stratocaster and was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Andy was the luthier that worked on my guitar, performing a full setup and installing some fender 57'/62' pickups. It plays and sounds amazing all the way through the fret-board. I highly recommend bringing your guitars to Andy and the team at Nicholson's. It was a positive experience from start to finish.

My guitar was crackling and the rhythm pickup was dropping out, took it in to Andy Irish and he gave it back to me in about 5 minutes fixed, just needed a spray out of the selector switch, NO CHARGE!!!
He was great, explained the situation to me and showed me the spray he used.
100% recommend Andy if you need any work done.
