I’ve gone here a few times to both purchase and sell firearms. Easily the best firearms dealer in the area. I’ve been to most other local shops and they all have lacked the hunt/outdoor knowledge with respect to firearms. During my experience at the outdoorsman never once did I feel pressured to buy a firearm, and I never once felt I was being “sold” something that wouldn’t fit the purpose. I’m incredibly happy with their service and selection. I will only buy firearms from them going forward.

My cousin just left a review and I have to agree with her. I was there with our uncle James. I felt so bad. I believe the gentleman’s (I shouldn’t even be calling him that) name was Rick. Rick proceeded to shout in my uncles face over a simple question. The outdoorsman is a lousy gun shop and not a single person in my family will be shopping there again. I’m so disappointed and I’m making sure all of my friends and family will NEVER give them business.

My uncle sent this photo and he was just so disappointed. They treated him so poorly. The poor man doesn’t understand how to leave a review so I’m doing it for him. He walked in and said the manager kept making excuses for how dirty the building was. He took this photo of one of their display cases. On top of this all he’s a prior navy vet and was under the impression they are allowed senior and veteran discounts. Instead of explaining that they couldn’t honor that, they yelled at him and said he was no longer allowed in their establishment. I’m honestly so saddened. To hear my family was treated this was makes me sick.

I gave them my Glock to ship into Glock. It has been 3 weeks and they didn’t even ship it, I had to call them to make sure they were doing their job. It’s a gun store these guys should be doing everything in detail. It’s a NYS gun store at that so they are a lower volume gun store with 4-5 guys clocked in doing nothing behind a desk (I’d love to know the financials of that). Also when I called the manager yelled in the distance “waiting on Glock!” Like no nobody is waiting on Glock it’s your poor management. I will just pick my gun up when it’s ready glad I have to work a second job as a gun store manager until I get it.

A bunch of guys in there who are rude and won’t help unless you’re a regular that gets overcharged daily.

Imagine taking someone’s Glock and telling them you’ll ship it out to Glock for them and then never actually sending it!!! 🤡🤡🤡 and then yelling in the background of a phone call “waiting on Glock!” Just for you to NEVER have it sent out in the first place!!! What an embarrassment on behalf of the entire store and staff!!! Gun has been in your possession for almost 20 days now and you’ve just been letting it sit around and collect dust!! Get your facts straight, get your shit together and how about a little more organization and communication for your establishment. Firearms are not to be thrown around to lose, pushed aside to be forgotten about. Once we get our Glock back you’ll no longer have business from us. Which is a shame because other than the poor management, miscommunication and overall negligence to your customer base, it is a fairly nice place.

I love this store. The guys are always helpful and friendly unlike some other stores that treat the customer like a nuisance. The prices are very fair and the selection is great. I came in 30 minutes before close looking for a hunting rifle last month and the guy at the desk answered all of my questions, ran the background check and stayed open 20 minutes late in the middle of a snow storm to sell me a beautiful tikka T3x for $200 less than another shop was trying to sell it for. They are fine with my son running around and checking out all of the animals when I go to pick up ammo, they have let me order oddball ammo online and get it shipped to them if they don’t have something in stock and are a joy to deal with in general. I highly recommend this store!
