This was a super fun place to come on a date night. Instructor was very helpful and taught us all the basics of how to paint and enhance the picture. A basic sketch is already drawn out for us in pencil and then we just use paint in different layers. You bring your own alcohol, beverages and food. The only thing they provide is water, cups and napkins.

Worthwhile. Fun experience. Even if you think you have no artistic ability. Put that aside and go.

I do like that you can bring your own food and alcohol (check the class, some are with kids and no alcohol in those), that was definitely a cool perk. Maybe a downside that you HAVE to bring it if you want it... Can't buy it there.

Just worth mentioning, there are a lot of similar places around. To be honest, I liked The Art Bistro in Rocklin more (better painting instruction, IMO).

But, just go once... Might be surprised to find yourself hooked, like me!

I have been there many times now and love it more and more each time I go. The artist teachers are wonderful and you will discover that you too can paint... Honest. I can't draw stick figures but I found that following their laid back and easy teaching approach has opened up a new world for me. Even if you have no aspirations to ever paint again... This is a fun event and is a great evening out with your significant other or girlfriends. The Wine is just a bonus.

Recommend arriving early so you can get a good seat or if going in a group ensure you can sit together.

Very quaint painting studio located in Old Folsom. Great atmosphere and is absolutely perfect for a fun night out with friends. They sometimes have two for one Friday specials which makes the fee about $25 per person when split. You can view their calendar/painting schedule for the month on their website and see what paintings are offered for upcoming dates.
