Our family loves the Kroc! The group exercise classes are great for all experience levels—a great workout and fun atmosphere. Play care staff is the best, they make an effort to know our kids and are always so kind! Regularly paint and do fun crafts!
My son has also played in the basketball league and every coach they have is knowledgeable, patient and fun.

The Kroc Center is awesome! I love all the staff across the entire campus- they all care about the programs and participants. All three of my children attended RJ's Preschool Academy, spend all 10 weeks of summer at Day Camp every year, learned how to swim in the Kroc pool, attend all the big community events and spend countless hours in their children's library.

facilitis are great, thier hours of operation will not fit many families schedules.. been a member for a few months, and only having a an hour and some change to train after taking my kids to thier activities is not enough time. joined becuase of thier location, amenities, and kid friendly activities. may have to join a second club just to be able to train.

i think i should say that yes there other gyms in the area, but i wanted somewhere to go close to home, very kid friendly and family oriented which describes the kroc center perfectly. i just wish thier hours of operation were a little longer , maybe an hour later in the weekdays and at least till 8 on the weekends. being a single father makes it hard to train with my kids.

Liam, the athletics director, is BEYOND amazing! He’s extremely patient with the kids, he has a smile on his face every time he works with a new child (especially one who is struggling at the moment), he’s easily accessible and he obviously truly loves his job. If you’re looking for somewhere to take your child for athletics, Liam at Joan Kroc is definitely the way to go.

I just found out it's $15 a person to use the pool for 2 hrs! It's such a shame I grew up in the neighborhood and now that I have kids the Kroc center is there and I have to pay to get in as well, $45.00!? A single mom cannot make it in San Diego. My two are homeschooled and I thought this would be a great place to get some outdoor rec. Nope.

I am 72 and have been a member of the Kroc Center for six years. I swim laps 3 to 4 times a week that

Not only is the staff wonderful and friendly and kind but I have met the most wonderful people who swim there on a regular basis. The facilities for the showers are wonderful I highly Recommend this facility.
The Kroc Center is not about money and if you’re over 65 it is really NOT about money it’s about servicing the community 💚☘️

I do love the Kroc and I take many of the pool exercise classes there, most of the teachers are wonderful. I have had my share of bad experiences there but overall I love the Kroc and I have a pool where I live but prefer there. The staff is friendly and most of the regulars are warm and welcoming to the newcomers. When I first started coming to the Kroc I could barely walk a block and now after taking their pool exercise classes I can walk a mile easily.....
