Gorgeous museum. My children and I spent a few hours here during a recent trip. Their favorite area was set up for children to take a turn at drawing a masterpiece. They also enjoyed the variety of art available to view. I did take away a star because I felt as though the staff could be more friendly and welcoming. Several times I felt as though we were being followed or watched closely because of the kids. I understand not all parents watch their kids closely, but mine never left my side or even spoke loudly.

This is a very nice museum for seeing art from different cultures. They have a variety of things such as artifacts, painting's and sculptures. They have a small gift shop inside. Most of the gallery attendants are very polite and kind. The older ones seem to be a little on the crabby side though...lol. overall we enjoyed our experience.

Enjoyed the art here so much! Loved seeing a Monet, Picasso, and lots of pro women pieces. I’ve been working on self protection and found the Nihonto interesting. The architecture room is pretty amazing. I ran out of time and wish I’d taken a photo of every piece with the description to read later on the plane. Life hack I’m discovering at art museums. The location is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner.

Sadly, As an avid museum goer and a New Yorker. This place not worth the $20 admission fee and the 35 mins I spent inside.

I went on a Monday, and the traffic was very light. There was no wait time to get in. I purchased a ticket a head of time just out of habit in NYC. You don’t need to buy tixs in advance unless you’re coming on a weekend.

This space has two floors, where the first floor is much larger than the second but there’s not a lot of art here. I’m a big fan of impressionist art and for one Monet painting and not a single Degas, Renoir or Manet. I was bummed.

There are three cool sections of this museum:
-German Expressionist
-William Gropper
-The Art of Portrait

These exhibits had very cool art and I just wish there was more. This museum fell short for me and I spent more time in the gift shop (which was awesome) than I did looking at the art.
The other sections are smaller than I’d expect. Enter at your own risk.

Gorgeous artwork. Amazing history. If you can get a guided tour. It may be worth it. Plenty of masterpieces. I'm partial to the Spanish ones. The lighting and realism are to be enjoyed. Very large museum.

Beautiful building, only down side is it's a small museum. Wish there was more. The most heartfelt exhibit was Share A Secret. Touching and heartbreaking.
