Such a wonderful slice of history. This is a must do when in the area and is even worth a drive to see this place. Super friendly and informative hosts. Please be sure to visit this museum and collection of logging history.

Awesome Museum with lots of railroad and logging history. they are opening twice and every once in a while, they have a speeder car ride.

Everyone there was so nice & knowledgeable. The trains were amazing, history preserved at its finest. Loved the speeder train rides! My son can't wait to go back.

Riding the rails was so much fun! My son LOVES trains, so when I saw on FB that this was a thing, we took the opportunity to go on a Saturday in September (they have rides available from May-September every second and fourth Saturday of those months). It was a little historic crew car speeder, super cute, and about a 20-25 minute ride along Humboldt Bay. The tickets were located by the speeder cars, easy to purchase, cash or card, they were $10 per adult and my child was free because babies 0-24 month are free.

Fantastic tour awesome information great for any locomotive enthusiast, most of the staff are volunteers which is even more impressive as to how informative and wonderful they can be.
