Traditions at South Apartments

Overpriced, has roaches and ants, people’s cars get broken into, pool, hot tub and elevators are always down, dog crap all over the breezeways, they tag on bogus charges at move out…the list goes on. Student living apartments are always a scam so you’re better off with finding a place that 5 or 10 minutes away from campus for much cheaper.

All of the vents look like this. Management told me my apartment is an issue when there are cockroach carcasses throughout the hallways lol. Also supposed to be furnished but haven’t had a working TV in a year.

Do not waste your time- management is horrible. I applied for and was accepted for a two bedroom apartment all before the early application deadline. After paying the initial deposit I was later informed that they had overbooked and had no rooms for me. Furthermore, it was made clear that the early application rates would not be honored. They told me that I could wait until the end of the summer to see if anything opened up which is completely ridiculous considering classes start in August. In the end, they refused to even return the deposit even though they were the ones who voided contract. The management was incompetent, unhelpful, and even rude, throughout the entire process.

I have liked this place so far my roommates are great and friendly people and we are quite like-minded, the staff is super friendly and willing to help me with any question I have, and were able to locate a room for me after the first room turned out to have an animal and they were able to help accommodate my needs and were careful with my allergies, honestly so far a great place to live as well the maintenance staff were great and quick being able to fix the issues in our apartment quickly and with little hassle.

The front desk people are great! Chris and Christina are great! I had a small issue that I brought to them and they worked really hard to resolve this issue. The maintenance stuff is great in that they’re quick to fix issues as well. One of the maintenance staff, her name is Summer, got it resolved within the day it was presented! Great people!

I love living here, it’s so close to classes, the maintenace is always so quick to respond to any issues I have in my apartment and most of the office staff Chris, Christine, and McKenzie are always friendly and helpful, except Lynn up front. She is ALWAYS snappy and beyond rude to not only me but my roommates as well. Other than that my experience has been amazing!!

Chris has been so helpful through the whole process before renting over the phone, and if any trouble arises there is always a follow through solution. Chris has been a true blue. Chris is a go to if I have any questions. Christina is always at the desk when I walk in and is welcoming. Lynn knows me by name and room number, which makes me feel special, and she has taken the initiative to get my mail ready when I go into the leasing office. Makenzie has given me alerts if I miss a payment which I've been greatful for. Scott has helped me get back into my room when I left my key inside. Great staff! I feel very lucky to live here.

I never pictured myself living at The Traditions at South turned out, but now I can’t picture living anywhere else! After having a bad experience with another student housing complex a few minutes away, I found myself desperately searching for an affordable place to stay that wasn’t too far from my college campus, and The Traditions was the best option so I gave them a call. Chris in the front office was extremely helpful with listening to and understanding my situation, and he was very open and honest with my friends and I throughout the whole signing process. When we moved in, we not only fell in love with our spacious unit, but with the efficiency of the maintenance team, the kindness of management, and the amazing resort-style amenities that are accessible to the apartment community (pool, hot tub, clubhouse features, and the 24/7 fitness center). If you’re looking for a safe, budget-friendly place to stay, then look no further—- The Traditions at South is the place to be!
