I’ve been teaching training seminars now for over 36 years through out the United States and I have also attended many seminars over the years and I can honestly say that Will is a true educator and he is also a first class person. I encourage anyone who is interested in learning welding to attend his seminars. Sure you can watch YouTube videos and go out and buy a machine (and find out you bought the wrong one) and get frustrated trying to set it up, but why when you can get a first class hands on program and have all your questions answered by a highly skilled craftsman and professional. Thanks again Will for an enjoyable and entertaining weekend! I will definitely be back to get some more training.

I absolutely loved this class! I took the weekend TIG class, and as an engineering student with zero experience on a welder, Jason made it super comfortable to get started. The explanations were on point, and the small class size meant I could just walk up, ask for help, and have him sit next to me and give me real-time advice on what I'm doing wrong. Such an incredible experience. Jason explained everything, from the way the welder works down to the science of how the gases and electricity affect the metal and what happens if you don't use proper technique. If you're considering this at all then do it!!! So worth it. Super welcoming environment, awesome people, and so much fun. 10/10, would absolutely take this class again.

I took the week long MIG, TIG, Stick and the weekend MIG class here and it was absolutely incredible. Jason ensured that safety was a priority and he also digs into the actual science behind why and how everything works the way it does. The small classes make learning so much better because you can ask more questions and the instructor will come over and sit next to you and show you things to work on. You don’t feel like a burden like in bigger classes with 30+ people at bigger institutions. All the instructors here actually want you to learn welding and you’re not just a number!

I have never welded before and after the week long and weekend class I felt like I had a much better understanding and was much more comfortable.

I am an architect who has forever wanted to learn to weld. It's such a specialized skill and a huge part of our industrial history. "Name a product that is not welded, manufactured by a tool or machine that is not in some way welded" proudly said our instructor of 35 plus years of experience. This class was a perfect way to get a broad overview of different welding techniques and materials while producing a pile of welded parts. Highly recommend UnderGround for anyone wanting to become a Welder to launch a career, put a valuable skill on your resume, build some cool stuff or just to be a part of a proud American tradition. I appreciate the instructors patience with me in particular starting out completely new to welding and the way the class was taught to get us welding quickly and develop good habits and technique. Thank you Metal Works and also to my classmates who offered encouragement and are a great bunch of folks.

Class moves fast, as there's only a certain ammout of time, but you learn a lot. Jason is incredible with explanations and his 1 on 1 time to coach you through whatever you struggle with. He will ensure you get welding in a time you didn't even think was possible. 5/5, 10/10. 100/100, if you're thinking about it, do it. You will not regret it.

Signed up for the week long MIG, TIG, Stick class . Jason was very knowledgeable, friendly and took his time to explain and demonstrate how to work everything even with one on one an each individuals work station. He explained everything dry well for someone who hasn’t welded before so it made it easy to understands and feel comfortable with all the safety precautions. Class max capacity of 5 made it great to know everyone and learn from everyone’s experience as well. Great class atmosphere and experience all around ! Would recommend !

Slightly difficult place to find but well worth the effort. The instructor Will is a font of knowledge and experience and a great teacher as well as being a top bloke. I could only attend the first day bc of childcare issues but I will be back, inspired to learn more. Thanks, Paul.

I barely know anything about welding and had the misfortune of being the person who was tasked with coordinating specific tests for a specific criteria for several hired individuals who's trade i am ignorant to. Despite being in over my head, Jason made the process easy and quick and he also made several attempts at saving ME money. If I ever have this need again I will certainly come back to Jason
