Union County Emergency Services - Lake Butler, Florida

I contacted emergency services this morning in Lake Butler Florida with, the best I can tell, a very badly torn tendon. I emailed them because of the off and on phone service I have out here and am already barely able to walk due to a bout with Polio as a child, so I simply could not walk around trying to find service. I explained all that to them, and should add the email address was headed as an emergency contact. I tried three times an nothing, something I find beyond outrageous.

I don't know what is going on with these people, and apparently it means little to them I have a very serious/injury and am in severe pain. Not sure if it was my explaining the fact I needed medication before they could even move me or what. If, and I did say if... they have problems with drug seekers that fine, they need to deal with it but that has nothing to do with me, I simply told them what I needed, what else was I supposed to do? It's just not a good idea to ignore people who depend on their services.

Tomorrow I'll be contacting Florida's EMS medical director to see If they can help me, and find out where to file a complaint. I'll update this as needed. If you've been through something like this especially in the lake Butler area and can offer any advice, please post. Now for another sleepless night and the last thing I needed right now was to have deal with something like this, making the nightmare that much worse.
