Ridiculous pricing, ended up paying 52k after signing up. They make you clean and mop the floors after class. They have a stupid late and absent point system where if you're late or absent a certain amount of times you fail the course and have to spend $750 to retake it (even with a doctors note. Personal experience). Even after graduation you still make base pay as a lube tech (currently working at a dealership so my word is the truth). I'd recommend going somewhere cheaper and more in depth like Seminole State where you actually get trained in a legit dealership.

This place makes you clean up and mop the floors at the end of rotation because they don't want to pay for someone to clean even though you pay $50,000 to go to this school. They only care about them making profits not the students. The housing program is a scam they will up charge when moving out. it's expensive for okay apartments. Waste of my time for last year and half.

If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. I can’t believe I’m wasting my GI bill on a school that only cares about my money and not my knowledge. There are a small handful of good instructors, but some are downright disrespectful and could care less if you grasp the concepts. As nearly a 30 year old man, I am astounded at how disrespectful I’ve been addressed at this school by certain instructors. You won’t learn to work on cars at this school. This may as well be an expensive corporate summer camp. If you have another option for automotive technician education, I advise you to go there.

I came from Texas to do the DTNA finish first program, Mr. Flannery and Mr. Edward’s are great instructors they are very knowledgeable on the subjects and leave nothing on the table when it comes to explaining why the components work together and how to safely troubleshoot and fix problems in a timely manner.

DO NOT waste your time or money coming to this school! I am a veteran currently attending school, please do your research before making this decision, better off learning on youtube. They Make you watch a load of videos which dont match with the in class labs, poorly recorded! And if you dont watch you fail! Instructors like to make you look dumb, belittling students that come here to learn something. Most of them are old folks that should be retired and expect you to know there 40 plus year knowledge in the field and got short patience! They have a “infraction” system where it’s basically attendance, guess what your 1 min late bang infraction, you can have a serious emergency it dont matter bang infraction. You get 8 infractions guess what you fail the course than you have to sit at the “ principals office and give a good explanation” please do research before its too late. Or just embrace the suck for a year. Bang infraction.

Pointless going to school here. You learn next to nothing. As a former program manager for instructional system design, I can tell you that their lesson plans, online content and labs add little to nothing to the learning experience. The online content is voluminous and repetitive with “troubleshooting” exercises that add nothing to the learning experience. Additionally, they have threaded discussions and PAAs (can’t remember what the acronym stands for because it is so pointless) that are just a time suck for the students that add nothing to their actual learning experience. I would not hire a UTI grad over someone that grew up working on cars - ever. Don’t waste your time and money. Speaking of money, it is outrageously expensive to get this completely inadequate training.

6 months deep, as a military veteran in the field working at a dealer, UTI is looked down upon. You will learn the basics here unless you take the Ford Fact electrical course. For any students with no GI Bill, seek other options, this is way to expensive for the education we receive. The infraction system is a joke.
