After years of dealing with this center I'm done with it. The most stressful part of my undergrad was trying to get UFIC to do the bare minimum to keep myself in this country. I graduated a few years ago and as such I don't have access to my Gatorlink anymore (which is another thing that UF sucks at) and since they randomly decided to remove all the emails for advisors from the UFIC website and made them only accessible through a link that requires Gatorlink login, which I of course don't remember the password for after years, I can't get into contact with my advisor. So now I have to jump through a bunch of loops to send an email, smth that can be normally be done in 5 min. Then I call the center 5 times before I finally get in contact with someone, and they are extremely snappy and cut me off when I'm trying to ask questions then hang up on me as soon as saying I should join office hours. Waiting on the office hours for my advisor now, but knowing UF, I know that something else will go wrong in this process too. Considering I paid them 200 bucks 1 year after graduating just to get a STEM OPT extension, It would be great if they didn't put alumni like me through this hell. Can't wait to start my grad school so I can be free of UFIC.

Most pathetic center I have ever experienced, and the most incompetent staff. From International Student Services to Study Abroad Services, these people don’t know what they’re doing, keep me waiting for months, and are just a total embarrassment to UF.

University of Florida has the worst service for international student. Nobody responds to my request. If you are on a deadline, good luck! The advisors will not reply your email in months, you need to follow up with them every single week. So disappointed, the university should make some action on this!

The front desk man is very rude for no reason, advisors would take too much time to solve problems and ask questions, when you ask them something they always answer by saying, we have too much work. I would not recommend waiting until the last minute to get things done with them. As an international student who pays a lot of money in tuition, I feel like we deserve kind advisors.

Worst experience! The staffs keep canceling their virtual office hour(thats only twice/thrice a week) super clumsy, i had to defer a semester ! they are way overpaid compared to their jobs 🤧🙄 N:B: My surname starts with a P; and my UFIC advisor was simply HORRIBLE!!!!!!

The advisors at UFIC are hard to work with. They try to manage requests through email (if they respond at all) and do not take time to consider the needs of students in face-to-face meetings. I have been poorly served by this office one too many times in terms of scholarships and finding necessary information.

Scott Sterling Davis is the best advisor I have ever seen. How lucky UF Int Center to have him. He is so understanding and caring person. He takes care of everthing that International Students need.
At that time, I had a serious problem with my paperwork and even I spoke to Director of Int Center, Debra Anderson. I can say she even did not care and listen me. However, Mr. Davis did. Even he can't does smt because of his job position, he directs you to appropriate departments to solve your problem.
Honestly, he is the one who deserves a better position in International Center.
If UF wants to attach more international student, it should definetely has more staff like Scott Davis. Because Int students care about how the university staff and environment are friendly towards them when they decide which university to go.
