I played there right after a rainstorm and it was cart path only which made it very, very slow. It was reasonable for the front 9, but after 1pm the course was pretty dry and they could have opened it up easily. The rental clubs were garbage with no 6,5,4 irons available. The course was in good condition, the staff definitely could have been more welcoming. Overall the golf was good, the surrounding staff/equipment/facilities not so much. Too pricey for what they offered that day.

Made the trip from Ohio down to Florida and was looking for great courses to golf at. Stumbled across this one with great reviews and it surely didn’t disappoint. The only problem I had was getting there because maps took us in the back way which is barcode access only. It made us late but they seem to have that problem a lot because they were understanding and didn’t mind.

The course was easily one of, if not the best I’ve ever played at. I played holes 10-27 and everything was immaculate. The greens, the fairways, the layout, the scenery, the cart, the staff, etc. Easy 10/10 for me. The club house and pro shop were stocked with great food and merchandise. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to golf in the Sarasota area. It is semi-private though so the public can only book 4 days in advance.

Very nice course, very well maintained. Didn't get 5 stars only because I think it was still too pricey. When we booked it said it was $150 each, but when we paid they charged an extra $50 for a cart, then tax on top, it was $375 for 2 of us. And the starter was a grumpy SOB.

A tiny bit slow pace of play wise and the rain and moisture is annoying. But other than that man is this a well run course with a great staff. Really enjoyed myself and minus having a mens senior 6 hybrid when my clubs ended at a 6 iron and a 5 hybrid with a gap to the 3 wood the rentals got the job done. Nice ambiance here.

Fair prices too.

No beverage service. Couldn’t order food. No parking. Staff pretty grumpy. Course could use a good clean up. Greens were great.

Very nice Country Club. Beautiful homes, secluded, quiet. Great security as there is a guard house with around the clock attendance. The golf course is one of the finest in all of Florida, and is truly a destination for those who cherish the game. Banquet facilities are superb with very fine attention to details. From lunch to fine dining the good is excellent and the service attentive.

Do not play if there is any chance of rain. Played 4 holes and pro shop would only give a rain check for 9 holes. 9 plus 4 equals 13? Won't be playing here for the price... $128 for 13 holes! Lot of golf courses to play for cheaper in better shape.

We had a very good time. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Course is great, not easy but also not really hard. Free balls on the range. Ice and water too. The only small negative was the group behind us, who hit drives too close to us. We were not slow. Will be back for the one day golfschool.
