The bulk of the exhibit might be the wooden plaques of inductees, which aren't terribly interesting on their own, but this is a great place for any cycling enthusiast. Bicycles spanning time and disciplines are on display along with some signed jerseys and a few odds and ends. The displays seem to lack much description or photos of the inductees or their contributions.

I enjoyed this visit. It is small and quaint but the avid cyclist will appreciate it. I think it moved here from another state recently... there are old and donated bikes from a variety of riders. There are movie clips. It was a fun history. Me and my husband loved/ love bike racing. Interesting though very low key. Cool ancient bikes. Davis is a good place for it. Hope it keeps alive and gets an upgrade! Really enjoyed it along with my farmer's market day!

Remarkable in-depth disply of all of the different facets of the bycycle"s contribution to our collective experience through history. Interesting exhibits that exposes the contributions of so many people to the evolution of the joy we all find in the simple ride or the grueling sport. Highly recommended. A must visit.

Excellent museum! The bike collection is incredible! This is a must see if you are in Davis. The facility also houses the Bicycle Hall of Fame; if you have any interest in the sport and desire to learn about the women and men who succeeded in bike racing at the highest levels (and usually with no great financial support!), you must visit this museum. Plus, there is one of Major Taylor's bikes displayed here. Major Taylor was, at one time, the highest paid athlete in the USA-higher than professional baseball players! Go get your bike history on!

If you like cycling and bicycles, this museum is a must-visit to learn about the history of cycling and bike racing. It's intimate and not overwhelming, which makes it great for families to be able to view the entire collection.

Cycling. History. What's not to like. US cycling has a long and interesting going back more than a century and there are 3 floors of exhibits here. Here you can see the only known bike of Major Taylor, one of this countries best athletes and the first African American professional and world champion athletes. There is a floor of bikes going back in time to the first bikes. Check ahead for when they are open.

We did an after hours tour (fee involved) w a local scout troop. Bob and John split the group and did a great job w kids from 9ish to 17 plus parents. Neat place and lots of local and national history. A limited amt of hands on material; lots of memorabilia and super cool bikes, trikes and predecessors.

All kinds of cool stuff to see - best of all is one of *Major Taylor*'s racing bikes, lovingly restored & beautifully displayed, on the top floor.
