There’s so much space inside. There’s barely anyone in the benefits area but they have people waiting outside hours to get in. Why! Why can’t all there’s ppl just walking in and wait inside where there’s all this seating out of the sun. Makes no sense a a liability waiting to happen. Wonder how many people have had heat stroke waiting to get in.

Update. Now when you call this office they put you on hold for a period of time and then it says basically that they are too busy and then the robot hangs up on you. What the hell is that? Not even an option to get a call back. This is literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced no exaggeration. Which is so sad that it happens at a place where ppl go for help. This makes America feel like not the best country in the world. I’m a disabled American and I can’t get help. Where do I go now? Very sad and disappointing

1 star is too much considering that I took 2 weeks to be able to schedule this appointment. When I get here, I see myself in a wait time of more than 1 hour and a half. Considering that their parking lot is very expensive and any of the other parking lots go by time. It's horrible this mismanagement of time that they have and lack of compromise with their costumers.

"One of the biggest queue and waiting of my lifetime "

The office is pretty decent and all . But the queue is literally long....

Have a huge parking space also

😳I had to wait for like 9 hours to just get into the office and submit my request.

The staffs were really good and friendly and bcuz of them this review didn't end up getting a one star..😊

I had to come like 3 times and the earliest I went was at 4 am and still there were like 20 people before me 😐

There are some important things you need to survive till you get inside🤓

Umbrella
Portable Chair(camping chair)
Book or any sort of Entertainment
Snacks and Drinks

And there is a 7eleven close by which sells umbrella and stuff and some cheap snacks

There is also a drop box service (do at yourbown risk) in which you can drop your original documents and the filled application form..

Anyways I hope the government do any thing like a shade for the standing people or some chairs for sitting on...😔

Came in on 11/13 around 11am and the African American man working the door had the utmost attitude!! I came in for a name change and felt like I was treated like a second class ghetto citizen just for asking “can we just go in”. Everyone else was very nice and polite once getting inside. Very weird experience here…. It doesn’t take much to be kind and treat every human being with respect.

Also.. heads up.. the security check point inside is extremely slow. Took about 10-15 mins to move through security with only 6 people in front of me. Don’t wear any shoes with metal or you will have to take them off.

Everyone I interacted with was super helpful and friendly - definitely make sure you make an appt, and in my opinion, the earlier the better. Parking is the only negative to this location. Otherwise, super smooth process and I was in and out quickly!

This location does not take appointments!

Arrived around 8:30 am on a Friday in June 2022 and started on the sidewalk outside of the parking lot.
Waited for around 7 HOURS in the rain and sun to get inside and served by someone in the window. Just know that there is more waiting once you get into the building and pull a ticket. There is a maximum occupancy of 29 people inside. Hence, the crazy line. At the time of this review, masks are required inside the building. The employees were friendly and helpful and they are what kept this place from getting a one star review.

Tip:
If you're willing to risk the safety and security of your documents, you can walk into the building and drop off your forms and documents in their dropbox. It seems the security guys inside the building can give you a manilla envelope for it should you choose this route. (Sadly there is no clear, visible sign outside that details this option, so try going into the building and ask about it.)

If you choose to wait and see someone in-person....
COME PREPARED!!!
WATER, SNACKS, UMBRELLA, PORTABLE CHAIR are all a must if you want to survive.

Final thoughts:
Sad to see how our tax dollars are being spent. There is much room for improvement. I sympathized for those waiting in blazing hot weather with young children and the elderly being forced to endure such extreme outdoor conditions.

Please plan accordingly before you arrive and I hope this review can help prepare future visitors.

Update: Received my Social Security Card less than 2 weeks after my visit.

Sad to hear from other folks that the situation at this location have not improved by much since I visited last summer.
