My fiancé and I hosted our engagement party at Verkade Estates in May 2022. Firstly, the venue itself is a beautiful location! We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the location itself. I also loved the fact there is a bridal suite and grooms room available to get ready and keep your personal belongings! There is a kitchen as well which includes a sink, stove and refrigerator. We were able to bring our own food/caterers and wine/beer. Our event was in the evening, however, we were allowed to be there since 9am the day of to start set up. Secondly, the venue manager, Melanie, is the absolute best!!! She and the owner listened to us and worked with us whenever we had a special request. Melanie was also extremely helpful the day of the event and gave us a hand especially when the wind wasn’t cooperating with us! She is sooooo extremely sweet and kind, which made things less stressful for us! The only thing I really wish was included with the venue was tables and chairs, but this is a pretty new venue so it’s understandable! Hopefully, with time, they will be included in the future. Overall, I give Verkade Estates 5 stars! So thankful for being able to celebrate our engagement at Verkade Estates and create everlasting memories! Thank you 😊❤️🍾

Verkade Estates -The Perfect Venue

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

First let’s talk about the venue. Simply breathtaking. This beautiful Venue sells itself! Big enough for any event.

Planning a wedding can be super stressful, specially with covid around, but Whit and Melanie made the planning process easy and enjoyable. They were responsive, flexible, and went out of their way to accommodate any and all request.

I can’t explain how awesome Melanie has been. Shes very efficient, polite and on top of her stuff. She was very professional from the start and pleasant the entire time. She is definitely an asset to Verkade Estates.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Elk Grove area, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it!!!!

Verkade Estates is a magical place where dreams begin! A perfect wedding and event venue with all the bells and whistles and top notch scenery to take those memorable photos. The VP of Events, Melanie is a huge asset to have in your corner when planning that special day as she truly takes her job to heart! Me and my lover were touring Sacramento's up and coming wine country and decided to stop by this winery as it was rated 5/5 stars. However, when we got there, we saw that it was a gated residence with only starter vines! We googled to see if there was a tasting room elsewhere and only found a craigslist ad for this estate looking for a master wine maker. We look forward to tasting the fruits of your labor in the future.

The whole evening was a complete dream! The staff was very nice and attentive. The owner was extremely engaging and went out of his way to welcome us. We toured, we gambled, we ate, we drank and we mingled. It was unforgettable.
