An absolute fantastic wine tasting experience! The weather was perfect and the wines were really, really nice. I enjoyed every single pour from white to red, a first for me (usually at least one in a flight rates a ‘meh’). The owner/grower/maker was pouring today and he is what made tasting an experience; he shared so much with us about the varietals, growing, organic practices, bottling, harvesting, costs, labels, etc. it was wonderful, a free Master Class! Vino Tahoe needs to be your next wine tasting destination! Cheers!

What a relaxing way to spend the day! Excellent organic wine and you get to enjoy it while sitting in the vineyard enjoying beautiful views. Make sure you make this stop when visiting Amador county wineries. The owner/wine maker is likely to be the one pouring you the wine. Awesome experience!

If you are in the area, this organic micro winery is a must stop visit! We partook in a wine tasting with the wine maker himself, which he explained the creation of his wine, which grapes he used (even pointing out the row of grapes in the vineyard), and the story behind the wine label. We LOVED Rescue Red, Barbera, and Cabernet Sauvignon the absolute most, but there was not a single “bad” wine on the menu. Many have achieved bronze, silver, gold, and best in class medals this past year. He was gracious enough to sell us the Rescue Red before it hit the market. He also does concerts, so check out the website for a chance to visit this hidden gem in Sutter Creek. We will absolutely visit again when we are in the area. His wines sell out because they are that superior and they are quite rare (making small batches at this time).
