Absolutely beautiful and a fun but also peaceful place to go. Great people hang out here and live at the lake too. I highly recommend it, whether you own a boat or not, go be there.... You may not know the Blessings that will come to you at the lake side..... ?

Great lake, wide and scenic. Good fishing. Great boating. Somewhat of a lack of amenities like quality lodging and restaurants. The water goes down some in winter for flood control, so be careful then.

Great open spacious boat ramp and place to just stop and enjoy the view. Could picinic here too but will need blankets as there are no tables. Also note there are no restrooms here either. Would be a great idea to add public restrooms for the large tourists and locals that use this place.

Peace, quiet, tranquility. Need I say more?
If you love these things, you will love the lake.
If you want to pound the waves on your jetski or ski boat this isn't the best for you. The lake is shallow in many unexpected places with stumps or rocks just waiting to wreck your water craft.
