I love that Edie & Earl made a live performance theater their living contribution to the town of Quincy, and that they are both Theatre lovers! I am personally not a fan of another fast food/alcohol taking over what would have been a lovely tea house or Internet cafe for those of us without great wifi.

Yesterday we saw the musical "The King and I" at the West End Theatre. We absolutely loved it, it was Broadway style caliber. Have not seen such fantastic performance in a long time. Unbelievable how much talent there is in a small town like Quincy, CA. The director was Terry Gallagher, and we have seen quite a few of her productions in the past 20 years, this performance, however, was stunning. The casting was superb, almost every cast member performed to perfection, the music was authentic and several of the singers had excellent voices. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the West End Theatre.
