Cool museum in the thriving city of Hobbs. Tons of local history both pre Spanish invasion to full-on Spanish takeover of the indigenous population. Vast areas are dedicated to chocolate.. Lots of chocolate.. They even have samples at the front desk! The pharmacy desk and piano area had a strange energy to it.. like someone is watching you. Other than that, it was a clean energy throughout the exhibits. We really enjoyed walking around and reading the history... Prices are reasonable. Military is FREE!! If you lost your shirt @ the Casino? Drop by and check this museum out..

This is a very interesting place! The admission is only $5. There are alot of very neat exhibits and statues, plants, and alot of information!

Great museum to venture to while in the Hobbs, NM area. Our four kids enjoyed the FEAR section, amphitheater and Western Heritage history!

Very spacious and well kept facility, the staff is friendly and the place is so warm and welcoming.
We went to the family fun event they held for kids. Christmas hand made crafts and free movie was so much fun and entertaining!
They have activities loved to until Christmas which is really amazing and with looking forward to!

Interesting exhibits that change quarterly. They are great for the kids because many items are hands-on for them to help them learn. Their gifts are quality products that are reasonably priced. Landscaping and bronzed animals are great. The East wall has been tastefully done to honor the people of our area. I also like the interactive cowboy. Great way to engage everyone.
