Great place to catch the Sunset!!
Okay to park overnight if traveling. Don't park at the end though, closer to building is better. Leave early and go to the boardwalk and visit all the awesome shops!!

First of all, Donald the supervisor is a truly nice guy. As the representative of the marina and indeed, Eureka, he deserves recognition. The public marina was a good stop. The docks are decent, security - at night - was decent, security of the shower/ bathroom/ laundry was ok, the showers sure need a serious cleaning but the water and heat were outstanding, bring your own TP. The local liveaboards were friendly and helpful. Didn't go in to town very far. Del Mar is great for dinner and a game, Kristy's is awesome for breakfast. Both very close. Englund very close too. Fueling dock (Englund Marine) is sketch for (medium sized) pleasure Craft. It's either a v small dock at the water or very large pilings.

Marble weekend 2024 was amazing to have happening again, I am grateful Topher is getting it going again, and it was a nice, quaint experience having Parton the event take place at the Wharfinger Building

City-owned community center -- I've attended everything from weddings and parties to safety trainings and marble conventions here. It's a beautiful building with an even better view of Humboldt Bay (on a clear day). Fully ADA accessible with lots of parking right on the Eureka waterfront.

I stayed here at H dock which is relatively protected from wind and waves and had a great stay for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were some grocery stores and a few other shops nearby which were of interest to a cruiser.

Price was reasonable and there were decent hot showers and laundry facilities. A previous reviewer mentioned homeless people wandering the docks at all hours but I never saw any. There are security gates which are closed from 17:00-08:00.

Showers were a bit dirty but honestly, for the price, what do you expect? Would definitely recommend this place to other cruising sailors.

Not much to do in town apart from eating drinking and shopping though.

It's kept nice. The docks look good but I don't have a reason to visit the boats often.
The seagulls frequent the parking lot for gimmedats, they aren't aggressive like they might be elsewhere, but they'll surround a vehicle for a fry.
